My stay at Termales del Ruiz was a memorable experience, thanks largely to the beauty of the place and the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Ray. He was attentive, warm, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. His professionalism stood out and truly elevated our stay. However, the experience at the front desk was disappointing. The girls at reception offered no welcome, no smile, and no sense of hospitality, which created an unfriendly first impression. For such a remarkable destination, the check-in experience should set a much more positive tone. On a brighter note, the Presidential Room exceeded expectations. The amenities were excellent—comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Combined with the breathtaking natural scenery and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel, the overall setting is truly remarkable. With improved front-desk service, Termales del Ruiz could offer a consistently outstanding experience. Thanks again to Ray for making our stay so pleasant.

They should have more ways of transportation

If I remember correctly, we got the 2nd cheapest option (or the 1st cheapest option)... the room was very small, but it was enough for our needs. The only issue was that everything was easily heard from the hallway (I think we got 1st floor, Rm. 106 or 109), from the room to the outside and viceversa. No big deal for us, but it would have been better if the room was more sound proof. The staff was superb! The surrounding area, not to mention the road getting here, was unbelievably beautiful. Well worth the trip.

Very nice ; hotel very remote and lots off nature. Near to the volcano

The preserved building, site and natural organic beauty make it a majestic resort. The exotic bird spotted on the property are astonishing. Don’t wait and plan your trip.

This is an amazing place, you can rest and enjoy the beauty of the nature. I will come back again, the food was delicious, we rented the presidential suite. This is the most beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful property and fun place to explore. Loved the hot springs! Liked all the places to walk and enjoyed birding here. Good access to the National Park from here.

Dirt road was in terrible condition/unsafe

Very beautiful property, pools were clean, rooms were absolutely beautiful and the grounds were nicely kept! Would recommend this hotel.

From a couple.days before the stay, the hotel personnel reached out to confirm and validate everything to avoid any delays. They gave us clear and specific instructions on how to arrive to the property. At the checking, the process was easy and simple. The room was spectacular along with the view. Food, pools and tour are nothing short of exceptional. 1000% worth and recommended.

This place is a jewel. The hotel is a hidden paradise in the Colombian Parque Nacional Los Nevados. Thank you to all the staff for such making our trip so pleasant and wonderful.

The rooms are very cold need more cleaning.
