Before booking, I called to double-check if the hotel had an indoor pool since I was traveling with two kids and that was a must for us. The Expedia representative assured me it did. When we arrived, we found out there was no pool at all. The person I spoke to was completely wrong — and that was so disappointing and frustrating, especially after I made my decision based on that information.

My son and I stayed there for a week. We came to Huntsville to play the RTJ golf courses for fall break. Amazing staff. I wanted a hotel that was not too expensive, fairly new or newly renovated and in the middle of town. This place was perfect. The staff was amazing and so courteous. Sandi at the front desk made me feel like I was at a bed and breakfast. It was easy to get in/out of and the price was just right. If I go back to Huntsville I’m staying here without a doubt.

Most of the staff was great.

I didn’t have AC in my room for two days. Then, they tried to give another room to make up for it, and that room hadn’t been cleaned. There was water damage on the second floor and they didn’t bother to clean it up. There were cobwebs everywhere. They definitely need more housekeeping staff.

My room was not cleaned well. It had hair on the tub from previous guest and the shower did ntmot have a shower curtain.

It was very peaceful and nice customer service

We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up to check us on. There was a cockroach in the stairwell. The room didn't have two beds and they ran out of shower towels

Great breakfast. Not much around if you do not have a car. Must order food.

This property appeared to be very new and well kept. The breakfast was very nice and all the staff was pleasant and helpful. Therefore I hate to give a bad review, but we found a dead roach underneath our suitcase as we left. But our main complaint was that the air conditioner seems to be programmed to only cool to 74°, which was way too warm for us to sleep well, since we keep our bedroom AC at 65° at home.

Breakfast was a little but overcooked but is completely understandable

The staff was thoughtful, gave great service and was very helpful. Made us feel welcome. Sandy was a stand out here. She was on top of it and gave us a top notch experience.

Overnight business stay. I chose Holiday Inn Express because of their consistency. Always great service, clean and updated rooms, and friendly staff.
