This perfect, little quaint hotel is almost a hidden gem. The town Arlesheim (Dornach) is a small town just outside Basel. Easy transit getting here. We were lucky to check in early and had a wonderful room overlooking the garden. The hotel manager and all the staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful hotel in a quiet, picturesque town. Excellently located for walks in the hills, just a couple minutes walk to the tram station and plenty of shops/cafés nearby. The room was clean and spacious with coffee machine and fridge. Staff were lovely and very helpful with organising guest pass and explaining how to access the hotel after hours. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Basel.

Considering the COVID restrictions, we were greeted very kindly and the hotel did their best to accommodate us well. As the restaurant was closed in the evening, again because of COVID restrictions, we were given several options in the village for take away, which we were then allowed to have in our room. We were given cutlery and glasses. The location of the hotel is quite central and we enjoyed a walk to the castle ruins close by.

Good hospitality and helpful staff. Close to nearby trams and a short walk to the Goetheanum. Lots of noise during our stay though due to adjacent room repairs.

Arlesheim is a definite must see. Lots of history,hiking and transportation to Basel is minutes away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic

We stayed here on the recommendations of others in the various reviews on Expedia. We were not disappointed as it was a friendly, pleasant and convenient place to stay. The village is small but has a variety of shops and places to walk and is very close to the tram line. As older citizens, we were given a mobility pass which meant we had free transport of all kinds throughout the city for the length of our stay. Many other cities in Europe could mimic Basel in this regard. We ate meals at the hotel which were generous and wholesome food. A good breakfast as well. Helpful and friendly staff with excellent English were a real bonus.

Der Aufenthalt außerhalb des Hotels war sehr gut und erfolgreich. Im Hotel selbst waren unsere Nächte mit Lauten um 6 Uhr morgens von Be und Entladen für einen Einkaufsmarkt störend. Das Frühstück war max. Mittelmäßig wir sollten für einen Parkplatz im Hotel zusätzlich 20 Franken pro Nacht bezahlen - Preis -Leistung war nicht gut

In bester Lage für einen Besuch in Basel. Gut erreichbar mit dem Auto, mit Parkgarage. Tramstation direkt in der Nähe des Hotels, um sich bequem nach Basel fahren zu lassen. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, grosses Zimmer, mit Kaffeemaschine, sehr freundlicher Empfang und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bin schon etliche Male im Hotel Ermitage übernachtet und jedes Mal freundlich empfangen worden. Kann es nur empfehlen.

10/10 das war ein Super Aufenthalt. Freundlich, Sauber, gute Zimmer.
