Room was nice, a good size. Old furniture and AC. The small balcony off the room is good for sunset. Not the best part of the island to stay, unless you have a car to drive around. The hotel has no kitchen, so no meals or snacks are provided. There are a few restaurants nearby. The lady in the reception was very kind and gave us good tips.

Arround tavernas are very noisy so we didn’t sleep all nights.Bathroom is very old.

Very friendly, comfortable, scenic hotel - part of other Samaina hotels in the area including Samaina Inn and Samaina Bay (closed?). Whenever I needed something, staff at the Samaina Inn were very happy to help. This Samaina Port Hotel sees all the ferry traffic coming in and out of Karlovasi, about a mile from the town center. Has a balcony with an ocean view from all rooms.
