A great old hotel located right downtown with easy parking and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Great vibe all the way around.

Despite being downtown, it’s a renovated hotel that was clean and tidy.

This is a lovely, quaint hotel in downtown Cranbrook. The rooms are completely renovated and very comfortable. The shower is large and has a rainfall shower head which was great. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to many nice restaurants, so we did not need to drive everywhere. I would highly recommend.

The Baker had been renovated and it’s now a cute boutique. We’ve stayed in a lot of Cranbrook hotels and this is our new favourite. The room was clean and well designed with a surprising full size fridge and a small kitchenette. A hospitality room on the first floor had all sorts of thoughtful extras. Street parking was no problem later in the evening once the restaurant has closed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This is a great little spot with really clean and appealing rooms. Staff are thoughtful and helpful. Our favourite “Heid Out” brewery and restaurant is a block away. Will return to both!!

Arrived late, they had called to check on us but we were out of service, and as soon as I called, the night desk guy showed up In minutes and checked us in promptly. Great after hours service, and cool old hotel (1923) atmosphere. Well maintained and renovated, way better than chain hotels, and there’s a great coffee shop across the street. Would stay again 10/10.

Everything was great. Room was clean. One complaint. Stairs are very steep. Should offer to carry bags. Loved the location of hotel. Thank you.

Great location, very walkable area. No elevator so carried luggage up to third floor. Water in shower was scalding hot, was impossible to get a good balance to take a comfortable shower.

This property is very historic cute and quaint however, if you’re looking for a fitness centre pool or breakfast this place is not for you. The room was large and comfortable and it was nice to see antique space in the hallway and in the room and the bathrooms have been nicely renovated, and there are coffee makers in the room as well. If you have mobility issues this might be a problem as there is no elevator so you do have to use the stairs and there are three floors but all in all I really enjoyed staying in a hotel that was 103 years old so so if you like historic places, this is a great place and also very pedestrian and friendly as there’s lots of things you can walk to good restaurants, coffee, shops, etc..
