Nice breakfast. Nice people

Amazing staff and clean, no frills, quiet property with an outstanding restaurant. Honestly, I was shocked when I entered my room. No windows, basically a box with a door….but let me tell you….the mattress and pillows were so comfortable. The pillows were divine. The shower water pressure is out of this world and so nice. Hot water came out immediately, so no waiting. It was so nice and clean and the staff made my stay so wonderful, including the restaurant staff. I was dubious at first, but I fell in love with this place. It’s right on the river, next to an amazing street that has brilliant restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, and shops. There was dancing, parades, demonstrations, and even a winning football team getting a police escort in the three days I spent there. Big shout out to Margarita and Artur in the main office and Tiago in the restaurant. I loved Coimbra so much and you all made me love it more. Thank you. I will be forever grateful for all you did and I hope to see you all again. Much love. Obrigado.

Super basic but super value. Great location, great sleep, delicious breakfast. Loved the building, the decor, the easy layout, and the welcome drink. Coimbra is a beautiful, historic city with a lovely waterfront and zero box was perfect for us to explore it.

Expected larger room. The breakfast was good and affordable.

Quiet and very central easy access to old town

Clean room with good amenities and nice restaurant and bar upstairs to relax at night. Also the checkin experience was very smooth and Redy was polite and happy and helpful.

Clean room. Not what you expect, but so much out of real hotel chains. Smsll room but very comfortable. It's fantastic. Nice lounge. Great bar and restaurant on premises, very reasonable price. I would come here next time in Coimbra without hesitation.

Staff were incredible, the restaurant was nice, room layout/size was good. My room however had a huge streak of unknown substance on the inside of the door and nearly all the bedding had holes in it

The room and shower were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The public seating areas you can see in the pictures are not glass enclosed, so theyre not a good place to get some daylight when it rains, but the spacious restaurant is a nice spot to hang out

Room was as described. It worked perfectly for us. Very quiet for sleeping and great location. Would definitely recommend.

AC was quiet and very easy to adjust. Perfect temperature. Room was clean had everything we needed and staff were friendly and helpful.

At first, my small, windowless, wood paneled room reminded me of a sauna and made me a little claustrophobic, but I soon got over it and found my room to be quite adaquate for my needs. Further, the staff were terrific and even assisted me with travel reservations to my next destination!

This was an overall good hotel. We were poorly received by reception when we came early to drop off our luggage. However, everybody else was helpful enough. The rooms are small, as designed, but are definitely not best if you are using the room other than to sleep. Overall good, but I would check other options as well if returning to Coimbra.
