Fantastic stay here recently. Staff was so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect - great view from our balcony over the port and easy walk to loads of restaurants and bars and to the Old Town. Would definitely book again!

The hot tub was great and really easy to use.

We really enjoyed our stay at Savus, the property was exactly what we needed, clean, high quality, and great location right next to the beach and tons of restaurants! Our room (with the jacuzzi) was a very large room with lots of space. The staff were amazing, so helpful and really cared about us during our stay!

Fabulous stay in this modern boutique hotel in the middle of town. Beautiful view with sea across the road. Wonderful and charming staff, Dimitri a perfect front person who couldn’t have been more helpful. Would stay again without a doubt.

Nicely located near the port and old Rethimno town. Friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast included many items and even the jams and breakfast bars were homemade. Something we learned (after the fact) is that you can control electronically your wishes for privacy (i.e., cleaning of room, etc.) by pressing certain buttons. Make sure that you understand how everything works at check in! Very nice stay overall!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at Savus. Check-in was seamless with a warm welcome and refreshing lemonade, the bed was very comfortable, and water was replenished daily. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety and made-to-order eggs. The hotel has an elevator in the back (so no need to worry about stairs with luggage), and the location is unbeatable—right across from the marina, steps to the beach, and walking distance to old town shops and restaurants. Savus was the perfect home base for exploring Rethymno—we actually preferred it to Chania. Highly recommend.

Great stay! This beautiful boutique hotel was in a prime location between the beaches and old town with everything you could want in walking distance. The family and staff who operated the hotel were all very kind, helped with anything you need, and made our stay amazing. We will definitely go back again!

Amazing stay! The hotel is perfectly located, brand new, spotless, and the service was outstanding. The breakfast was simply incredible. By far the best experience of our trip to Crete!

Demitris is an exceptional reception staff! He made our stay incredible with his warm smile, attentiveness and enthusiasm! The place is very modern and clean. We got upgraded to a suit and it was absolutely amazing! My sons had their regular room, but that was also very nice! There is no parking, but you really don’t need one here as you are within walking about 4-8 mins distance to all the amazing restaurants and shops! The view from this hotel is exceptional!

The NICEST place we stayed at in Crete! We stayed in the Superior Room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was LUXURIOUS. An INCREDIBLE unobstructed view, only matched by the shared view from the breakfast area in the lobby as you enter Savus. But what really made our stay incredible was Dimitris, who greeted us at check-in and worked at the front desk in the evenings. Such a warm, funny and delightful person to chat with - he walked us through every element of our room, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We only wish we could've stayed longer!

Great location, great view wonderful staff

Wonderful one night stay in good location. The guy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, gave us a complimentary drink (non alcoholic) and then showed us to our room. He went through everything in fine detail from how tv worked to air conditioning controls. Great rain shower. Usual facilities in room. Breakfast was really good, the chef cooks a different egg dish each day. Ours was poached eggs cooked the Greek way. Nice touch. There is no parking on site, but free parking is available at the port/marina nearby. Make sure you park on the far side where the white lines are. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Ive stayed at countless hotels for work and nothing compares to here. From start to finish there was not one issue, got upgraded to a suite, stunning room immaculate views amazing location, breakfast was incredible and the staff had character and charm. I'll happily book this place when I next come to rethymno. What I will say though is if you get a room with a hot tub turn it on before you leave for dinner it takes about 3 hours to heat up. me and my partner left it till really late and didn't get to enjoy it till 2am 😅

The Savus Boutique Hotel was perfect. The service and attentiveness by Lucia, Alexandria, and Gianni’s? Were great. Perfect size, big enough to be a full business- small enough for personal attention. English is spoken by staff. Breakfast on the large patio is perfect for several guests at a time, and the food was a great combo of cold and hot dishes plus prepared eggs! Location is right at the line between old town and the newer section. We will stay there again if our travels take us to Crete.

Everything about Savus was amazing. Highly recommend!
