Great , clean room

The accommodation was good overall, but the location made transport to the town quite difficult. It felt a bit isolated, with no shops nearby, and we had to walk about 20 minutes uphill to reach the town centre. This made getting around less convenient than expected.

I’ve stayed here a few times on our way to the Charente. It’s very clean, well managed and pet friendly with good cooking facilities.

Excellent hotel, better than expected for the price, especially as there was a kitchenette in the room. Spacious room and decor of the whole hotel was very attractive. The breakfast was excellent, the best breakfast by far of all the hotels we stayed in on this holiday. We had to pay 9 Euros for parking, but it was secure garage parking under the hotel reception and we booked it in advance, and were glad to have a secure place for the car. However, arrival was tricky because there seemed to be nowhere to pull up short-term in order to be able to go into reception and check in. The hotel should give instructions as to where one can stop to do this, especially as the roads around are busy, and it is not easy to get back to the hotel once you have driven past. The hotel was on the city ring road, and very convenient for the city centre, being just ten minutes walk from the cathedral, so we had no need to use the car while staying there.

What can I say - this was a fantastic place to stay and I highly recommend it. Walking distance to the wonderful Chartres cathedral and lots of dining options and quaint shops. I wish there was one of these hotels in every town.

Clean modern room with kitchenette and nice bathroom (though shower water pressure was a bit low). Convenient location.

Excellent, everything good, spotlessly clean, good kitchen area, and nice large shower, comfy bed, just remember that on top of your room fee you have to pay 250 euros deposit.

Lovely apartment and good breakfast. Only downside was we arrived late and had trouble getting hold of someone to let us in even though I warned them we would be late which was stressful. But the apartment was great.

Location and room were great. Sadly 2 issues I raised with front desk and emailed to management were never fixed or even addressed...smoke alarm and shower issues. If fixed review would have been excellent.

The duty manager was friendly and helpful. The whole building was clean and tidy. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries supplied. The small kitchen with a fridge was perfect it meant we could store a few perishables on the way down to the south of France on our trip and could refill our flask as well as somewhere to eat as we were too tired to go out after our travelling. Even had the BBC news and weather on the TV. We would definitely recommend and use their chain again.

Very quiet and an incredibly comfy large bed....just what we needed after a long drive. The rooms are exceptionally clean, secure underground parking and an 8 minute walk to the cathedral. Can thoroughly recommend Residhome.

This place is fantastic and a steal! Very new and clean studio/efficiency with separate kitchen. Super comfy bed, equipped kitchenette, desk + small dining table. I took a room with a deck, and the deck was huge - about 200 square feet - with a couple of chairs and a small table. Secure underground parking is only e9 per night. Didn't have breakfast...

Clean, quiet and comfortable, but no restaurants or stores in the immediate vicinity.
