Truly Great hotel and very welcoming staff, only downside you need to get an Uber to go anywhere, so set up a ride account before you get there.

Gorgeous property. Not much around it but worth it for the views.

A great place to stay with free parking only a few minutes from the bustle of Porto.

Beds were brutal. Need to be replaced. Hard and decided. Worse sleep in 20 yrs.

Most beautiful views. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff. Excellent food choices and buffet. Free breakfast every morning was a big plus to start our day. Highly recommend.

Staff service was amazing. Free upgrade, early check in, assistance with bags… just really great from beginning to end. My only complaint is the person who cleaned the room turned off our AC and opened the balcony door on a 95 degree day. This not only took more than 24 hrs to fully cool back down (the ACs don’t work great there) but actually consumes more energy than leaving it on.

Really nice pool area overlooking the river. Not much within walking distance, but Ubers were quick and cheap. Nice service around the pool, although a little slow at times, made up for by the friendly staff. Good breakfast options and a wonderful seating area hovering over the edge of the river. Gym was small, but some free weights and modern cable machine.

Beautiful place and and staff.. very happy with our stay

We stayed one night in the hotel. It was not suitable for my mobility impaired mother, so well before checkout time we asked for a refund for the remaining two days. We checked out and did not stay the remaining two days, valued over $900. They had zero sympathy for this, and outright refused a refund. Expedia tried to collect the money, and again they refused. I asked for the Front Office Manager's email, and was given a fake email address that is bouncing. Additionally, this hotel was terrible. The price paid was $450/night. For that price you can get a much better hotel. Don't be fooled by the "5 star" rating, it is not real. The "bar" is basically a cafeteria, the pool bar is generally closed, there are no plants or anything by the pool, the rooms are extremely small, and the service was no where near 5 star. You are just paying for the view, and there are other hotels that have views also, but are MUCH better. I.E. Yeatman, which was also $450/night. Total ripoff, and just terrible how they treated my mother.

We arrived at 3:00pm which is the agreed check in time. Only to be told that a guest had been ill in the room and that the room wasn’t ready. We were offered a downgrade or somewhere to wait in the meanwhile. While we waited around the pool for a number of hours it because apparent that a number of guest had been told the same “story”. Our room was finally available to access at 7:00pm. No offer of compensation, curtesy drinks… nothing! I was staying at the hotel with my dad, spending some quality time together since I lost my mother, his wife of over 40 years just a few months prior. So to say it’s left me feeling disappointed is an understatement. Sad really because the location, room and some of the staff were amazing. I’d guess the management a probably running the hotel short staffed.

Only one night but really enjoyed it.

Really great. Staff is nice. Rooms have drinks. Breakfast is free. The lunch and dinner is not my favourite. Better to go outside for that. The rooftop pool is amazing barely anyone there too. You do have to take Uber to get into the city, but only cost around five euros.
