Well, before all, I need to say that it was a real issue to go from one hotel to another one, to get the entrance and the room key, and to understand the way it worked… In my mind, it doesn’t make sense. When you reserve a room in a hotel, it’s because you plan to be « received » there, and to be able to have « a human contact » there. It wasn’t the case at « Logis Héraclée ». There was about one mile of distance between the two hotels, and it was « necessary » to walk from one hotel to the other one.

Very helpful staff, very Bike friendly and flexible, good food at fair price, excellent staff and service. In the Via Rhona cycle route. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely small hotel on the quai. It was very quiet during the winter months. Breakfast was very good with fresh bread and pastries. Suggestions on area walks and farmer's market from the owner were helpful.

This hotel is a very convenient, value-for-money base for visiting (by car)the nearly centres of Arles and Nimes and the Camargue. St Gilles is an ordinary French town, though with some historical interest - so it has fewer foreign tourists and offers better value than famous towns nearby. Local restaurants are excellent. The hotel is clean and pleasant, family-run and staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

No problem finding this charming little hotel on the banks of the canal - so obviously it was a quiet & very pretty location. A warm welcome from the friendly multi-lingual proprietor prepared us for the clean, comfortable rooms with their spotless en-suite bathrooms. He told us about restaurants in the vicinity & sent us on our way with a cheery 'Bon appétit. After a good meal, we passed a comfortable night: this is a super little place & we'd certainly stay there again, if revisiting the area.

No frills, good overnight stop. Clean & tidy, just a little bit tired in places. Recommend eating at Restaurant Restanque on quay nearby.

Hôtel sur bord du canal, au calme, propre et personnel accueillant

Tres joli Hotel, simple mais calme, confortable, propre. Il nous manquait rein et nous y avons ete tres a l'aise.

Une halte trouvée au dernier moment en attente de réparation de voiture. Bien tranquille mais le manque de personnel à l'hôtel Heraclee m'a obligée à me passer de télévision car elle ne marchait pas! Heureusement l'autre hotel rénové servait de bons repas.

La chambre est correcte, la salle de bain très bien. Mais il n'y a pas d'accueil. Aucun personnel. On prend la clé dans un autre hôtel. Pour le petit déjeuner, il faut chercher un café....

Abbastanza positivo anche se la stanza dataci e’ minuscola ma quello che più infastidisce e! Che la struttura non è’ presidiare e quindi abbiamo dovuto andare in altra struttura a prendere le chiavi di camera
