This was our favorite stop on the Camino! Everything was curated so perfectly from the animals roaming outside to the beautiful pool to soak from a day of walking. The owner was so kind to us as well. Can’t recommend this place enough, you will never want to leave!

I loved this hotel. Warm welcome from the proprietor. Beautiful inside and out. Very new and beautiful. Small and, while just a few meters off of the Way, very tranquil. A lovely patio with a burbling patio. Lovely room—supremely comfortable bed, a bath!, great great great! And a fabulous boccadillo. Muchas gracias!

After a day of walking the Camino and being exhausted, I got to Casa da Ponte de Penas and was greeted by a wonderful front desk lady who suggested I put my feet in the outside pool to feel better :) I was amazed with the authenticity and the warm feeling of the place. Staff and owner were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Place is very clean. Perfect for anyone that would like to have peace, quiet, mental retreat, or after a day of walking the Camino. Also perfect for anyone that needs to rest :) Great place to spend time reading, relaxing, reflecting or taking walks in nature. Excellent food and drinks. Away from downtown but not too far. My original stay was for one night, but then I changed it and stayed another night and came back for one more relaxing night after I got to Santiago. Highly recommend it. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in that area.

Lugar espectacular en un entorno rural con las comodidad de un hotel de categoría. El personal muy amable y servicial. Limpieza de 10 y las instalaciones comunes muy cuidadas.
