The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful for our stay. We loved our rooms, however we were switched from a room with air conditioning to an apartment without due to an issue with the suite we had reserved. This gave us more space, but we had to leave the windows open for airflow. One room was comfortable, the other was a bit warm during the night during the heatwave. Otherwise, the hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay.

Many positives, and a fantastic location—just five minutes from town. First and foremost, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful with anything we needed. They recommended restaurants, made dinner reservations, arranged taxis, and even provided bartending and laundry services. The small bar near reception was a great place to relax, meet fellow travelers, and enjoy a nice drink. One of the biggest highlights for us was the real, cold air conditioning in our room—a welcome relief during the unusually intense heat wave we experienced while traveling. Bayeux itself was especially pleasant in the evenings. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, with a modern bathroom, updated lighting, very comfortable beds, and daily housekeeping service. Be sure to get the breakfast buffet as well. It was fresh, plentiful, and very reasonably priced, with eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, vegetables, pastries, breads, and much more. It’s clear that the owners have invested in many recent upgrades and improvements, and they appeared to be continuing that work during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were so welcoming. Room was clean, bathroom was recently updated and had a/c which was so nice with abnormally higher temps. The hotel fit the look of the city and was yet modern in the room. They offered laundering service which was so helpful. Hotel was very walkable to the numerous cafe’s. Great place would recommend to book here.

The room was comfortable. The internet was spotty and often nonexistent. Our towels were changed without our asking but they only replaced one bath sheet. The location was good.

The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful, and wanting to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was large by European standards and clean. Very nice walk-in shower.

The breakfast was disappointing for the price point charged. The room and bathroom were nice sized; the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were not good quality as well. There was great air conditioning but the blanket provided retained your body heat; we were very comfy when we went to bed but very hot starting about three hours after going to sleep.

Relative to other similar hotels the breakfast was limited and not of high quality, but had some good items and was sufficient. Depending on which room you get they can be roomy and pleasant, or not so pleasant. We asked for a second floor room and it was very pleasant.

The room was very clean, however we could never get the safe to work properly even after the hotel staff reset it. Bar was nice and relaxing. The staff was terrific. Breakfast was ok. We ate there the first morning only. Overall a great place to stay.

Delightful staff. Lodging was very nice, charming town and bonus with the proximity to WWII sites.

The view was phenomenal- literally couldn’t be a better view of the city/ Eiffel Tower. The location was exceptional and we enjoyed several eateries within a few minute walk.
