Very quaint hotel in a nice neighborhood of Amsterdam The room we were assigned was two stories up a very steep, small staircase. While we do not mind stairs, these were dangerous in conjunction with carrying up luggage. We are in our 70s and cannot risk falling so we would not recommend to older adults. Other than the staircase, it was a lovely hotel. Perhaps a way around it would be for the hotel to have someone deliver the suitcases to the rooms so people unfamiliar with the staircase could hold on to the grab bars w/o the worry of falling.

It’s exactly what I needed. Something out of the city center that is quiet, calming and cozy but with easy walking access to this small town with shops and restaurants.

Property was very clean and quaint, the owner was pleasant and helpful. The only downside would be the stairs to the upper floors, they were narrow and steep. Also, no air conditioning, but the temperature there does not warrant AC on most days😎 My stay was pleasant and the hotel was very clean🌹

This hotel was amazing and I enjoyed everything about it. The owners were beyond nice, so down to earth, very accommodating, and asked about my journeys and if I needed any help to let them know. It means a lot to me when your stay makes you feel at home and people who really care about your trip and ways to make it wonderful. The hotel was so beautiful and the decorations throughout had me amazed. The room I stayed in is a favorite with a very comfortable bed and an awesome bathroom that included a shower and bath. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy Amsterdam but be on the outskirts of town and a more quiet neighborhood. There are 2 bus stations about a 10-12 minute walk which was very convenient and continuous routes to get you easily all around Amsterdam. Overall, this hotel is definitely one of my favorites and I loved the owners here who were wonderful people and made my stay absolutely amazing.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Station Amstelveen. Every aspect our our stay deserves 5*. Our room was clean, spacious and had views of the quaint town it resides in. The bed, sheets and towels were all top quality. The hotel is within a short walk to a quaint town with hanging flower baskets, cafes and Michelin * restaurants. The B&B owners were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for a transportation service to take us to the airport which was on time, professional and accepted cash or credit cards. Frankly, I can't if I have had a better hotel experience.

It is a lovely hotel in a village just outside of Amsterdam. You can easily take public transport to the center of Amsterdam. You are 15 minutes from the airport by taxi.

This is a fantastic hotel, very quirky but great at the same time. We were so sorry we did not spend more time at this great hotel just one night. The host Johan was more than helpful, the town with plenty of restaurants is only a minutes walk away.if you have any disabilities do not go the stairs are very difficult.

We were there for only one night but it was great! Very comfortable bed and pillows, an excellent breakfast and Johan was helpful from start to finish. It’s all very charming, quirky and homey. Be aware of the extremely steep and narrow steps. There’s no lift. And if you want a great dinner go to De Yonge Dikkert for a Michelin level meal in a windmill.

This hotel is absolutely worth going out of your way to stay in, and it's still super close to the airport! Location is awesome, with plenty of eating and drinking options all within a short walk. You can get a great breakfast here in the morning, as well! Would be a challenge for those with mobility issues, so bear that in mind as the rooms are all up a narrow, winding flight of stairs. But the rooms themselves are quite spacious and comfortable! Will definitely put this at the top of my list next time I travel here!

The setting in Amstelveen was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well supplied. The host was genial and very helpful. The only snag was getting past the recently installed traffic barriers which require a code to lower.

What an adorable bnb, with such a lovely vibe and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this as a great alternative to a hotel in Amsterdam.

Our second floor room and bath were cozy. Watched the sunset over the town. Breakfast was made to order and local. We found shades of Van Gogh on the walk through the forest. Best of all, Hugo generously moved our bags up the stairs. ❤️👌

Stunning property. Converted the old train station building in Amstelveen. Been staying elsewhere in amstelveen over the years for business. If only I had found this earlier.

My husband and I stayed at Station Amstelveen for one night, the night before we flew back to Canada. I had been hunting for a hotel that would see us continue our wonderful time experiencing the Netherlands, without just killing time at a boring, standard airport hotel. Well, we hit the jackpot with Station Amstelveen. It's all that I was hoping for. The town of Amstelveen is easily accessible from Amsterdam's Central Station. You take the subway and then take a tram. From there, it's about at 10 minute walk to Station Amstelveen. We were happily welcomed to the bed and breakfast. Our room was so comfortable and clean! It was spacious and stunning! Breakfast was delicious and healthy, with any kind of coffee you wish. I love lattes. The bed and breakfast is right in town, with a myriad of options for a lovely dinner. A lot of the Dutch locals were out at one local pub, in the street at an early hour (7 p.m.) on a Sunday night, so jovial and singing. It was so much fun to see a real town come alive. Sitting perched at the end of a boring, big name hotel would never had provided us such a great experience. I really recommend you stay there! There are only a handful of rooms, so it is a very lovely, intimate experience. The dining area is stunning, with all of the plants and tall windows. I took a ton of pictures to show my daughter, who is a professional stylist of home decor. I knew she'd appreciate the lovely spaces that Station Amstelveen has created.
