What a delight! A stylish hotel in a fantastic location with super friendly staff. Great bathroom and really comfortable bed. Generous and tasty breakfast selection.

Fantastic views, excellent service, amazing food in the restaurant, comfy beds. I wish the parking was better, more and/or reserved for the hotel. Very helpful & friendly staff!

Be warned, this property has no central heat/air so those sensitive to fluctuations in temp should be prepared.

Beautiful property, right on the beach, within walking distance of shops and dining. Staff was absolutely amazing and were so accommodating when our ferry from the UK arrived past the usual check-in time. The food and drinks were wonderful! The view was incredible and being able to sleep with the windows open and feeling the breeze and hearing the waves is beyond perfect!

Location on was on the beach. Beautiful town and beautiful sunset. Would have stayed longer but schedule could not permit. Dinner was very expensive if you can avoid! Overall, I would still go back to this hotel for a longer stay !

Staff were responsive before our visit when we got in touch. They were all friendly and welcoming. We arrived late after a long day travelling and the room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast with fresh, local produce and in a great locataion. I hope we can go back some time.

Nice hotel in a nice little seafront town. Ideal for the ferry from Caen. Only gripe was windows not particularly safe for small children.

Lovely staff- owners. Room was clean, bathroom had awesome shower. The view was amazing.

Lovely, modern room renovation. Hotel is in a beautiful location on the sea, which is readily accessible. Parking is on the street if spots are available.

It was a great place to stay. It seems to be a bit older, with an appearance of being worn, but that may be due to the sea.....which is just on the other side of the parking lot! Saw the red sky in the morning from the sunrise, and the red sky at night...my window faced north, so it was great.....nice sea breeze, and very convenient to get to the WWII sites along the coast. Restaurant was good, breakfast was typical European style (bread, ham luncheon meat, cheese, etc). overall had a great stay.

Excellant base for ferry, Normanday beaches, Bayeaux and Caen. Family run hotel, attentive.

A good hotel for the star rating. Great view from top floor bedroom along the seafront and spacious room (but no lift). Nice continental breakfast, didn't eat in restaurant but menu looked good. Some English spoken. Only 10-15 min drive from ferry port & close to Caen, Bayeux and all Normandy beaches (on Sword Beach). Only thing I'd add is that is coffee/team making facilities in room would have been nice.

Great location, calm, quiet room in pleasant hotel. Room had all we needed and hotel was an easy 20 mins drive in early morning to ferry back to Portsmouth. Beach is also nice, good for children and with cafes and shops nearby.

We chose Le Beau Rivage because we wanted to visit the D-Day beaches and we were more than pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous view of the beach from our room. We also enjoyed a very tasty meal at the hotel's restaurant.

Unique seafront setting which I have long admired. As a trial I stayed one night in late season for Bed & Breakfast only having previously e-mailed advising of late arrival. I needed to phone standby number posted on door to get door access code. Hotel appeared deserted but bedroom proved satisfactory if small. Breakfast adequate. Patron friendly but had not monitored my e-mail posted to the hotel's own website.. I got what I expected and this will inform my decision whether to return during the season with a group of friends.
