A great place! it has 8 cottages ("villas") each with a queen bed bedroom and a loft with 2 twins, and a living room with a kitchen. The backdoor opens to a patio leading to selva. You can spend a night or several week comfortably there. The greatest thing about the lodge is its "selva" -- the property is huge, you can wal and walk there, through many kinds of native and planted trees -- bananas, avocados, many kinds of palms and many many others. Watch the monkeys jumping from one tree to another. We spent both mornings walking it and it was a highlight of the trip. (Well the waterfall are more impressive, but we loved this selva). The restaurant serves fancy food for dinner -- it is ok, but the looks and presentation (excellent) are much better than the food itself (just good). Dine there on the first night and decide for yourself. But at least once :) Breakfasts are good. I'd prefer they put less focus on inventiveness and presentation, and serve for "honest" food. But its just me. Also -- do not miss the wildlife refuge nextdoors.

Everything great! Lovely stay. Hiking & Bonfire activity was fun. Breakfast delicious. Don’t skip having dinner at the restaurant too. Took one point off only for bathroom, could be better. Otherwise overall memorable stay. They connected me to transfer service whom we ended up using for entire stay. Highly recommend Overo!

We stayed here on our honeymoon. The lodge was lovely. Amazing location to access both Salta and the incredible Igazu Falls. The breakfast was very special and the pools on site were great. The hotel also offered additional activities. We had a short stay so couldn't do these but they sounded really fun.

Rooms are rustic and clean. Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel with individual lodges, bit dated, had a basic kitchen area. Bed ok. Unfortunately partner got food poisoning at the restaurant, had not eaten anything else that day. Staff very friendly and helpful. 2 pools very nice. Quite a bit of road noise. The hotel recorded a taxi driver who was fantastic.

The staff was amazing, very attentive and helpful. The property territory is in real jungle, exotic, well maintained, beautiful. The cabin was too rustic to my taste, the bathroom is miniscule and not comfortable. Practically no space in the bedroom. Breakfast was very nice. We had a good 2 nights stay.

Our cabin was quiet, clean, comfy and rustic. The grounds and beautiful and the staff was friendly. They even arranged for a driver to take us to Tres Fronteras. We had a problem with our dinner one night but the issue was resolved in a professional manner.

The staff is very attentive, caring and helping out anytime for any question or problem. The resort is in the middle of the jungle very authentic and well kept. The cabin was ok , bit outdated but really adds to the special atmosphere The restaurant is for hotel guests only, fresh and delicious food but not enough diversity… If you want to feel the vibe of this place - this is the place to stay

Beautifully rustic individual triangular cottages set in the jungle in fabulous grounds, with a private jungle walk with plenty of birds and other wildlife. The whole place has a fabulous history and there are just 8 cottages with two huge swimming pools, and a full restaurant and bar to accommodate the very few guests. The cottages themselves are sweet,rustic and functional, but not five star as Expedia would suggest, so anyone looking for five star luxury would be disappointed (apart from the fabulous pools!). That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel and resort are just off the main road to the airport and the Falls, so a little noisy but well located for taxis and buses (and the wildlife sanctuary next door, which runs guided tours in English every day at 10 am). The town of Puerto Iguazu is nothing special, and clearly the visitors are all here to see the falls, which are absolutely spectacular. Would definitely recommend Overo for its rustic charm and tranquility, with great staff and fabulous swimming pools.

Such a wonderful stay! Very convenient location for our Cataratas tour, beautiful property. The villas are well kept and equipped, just a bit rustic. Gino greeted us with a delicious fresh juice and warm hospitality :) Julio in the restaurant was amazing too! Two breakfasts and dinner there were outstanding. High recommend this lodge, you truly feel you are in the jungle!

Charming historic property backing right up to the national park! The villas are charming and rustic (not fancy) but comfortable and clean. We had a delightful time walking the nature trail, lounging at both pools and dining in the wonderful on site restaurant, Percobal. Had delightful visits from monkeys, lizards, dozens of butterflies and even a capybara!
