The staffwas great, the room was over price for how small it was. The shower didn't have a door so water got all over the floor. The air conditioning controls didnt work so I had to un plug it in order to turn it down.

Amazing staff, super clean family environment, and well-located. There are amazing and delicious restaurants nearby, along with stores; surrounded by the city's history, it feels incredible to stay here. I will definitely be back soon.

Excellent service

I stayed one night at the TRYP Hotel in Mayagüez. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with several positive aspects, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The access to the room was convenient, and the hotel offers several services that are a plus, such as parking and a snack bar at the entrance. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant. The bathroom amenities were also good quality. On the downside, the pillows were too high and uncomfortable. There were visible signs of humidity and areas that seemed to lack proper maintenance. Additionally, the TV in the room felt too large for the size of the space and the distance from the bed. The brightness could not be adjusted, making it almost impossible to watch comfortably. With some attention to maintenance and room comfort details, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

Las facilidades y cuarto estuvieron limpias y renovadas. Placentero a la vista. La hubicación del hotel muy buena, era muy facil encontrar que hacer y restaurante para ir a pie. Le doy 3 estrellas por que necesite que refrescaran la habitación, puse el cartel en la puerta y notifique en recepción y personal desde la mañana y no fue hasta las 7 pm que yo misma le pedi al personal que estaba en el pasillo toallas limpias y donde hechar la basura. El hotel estaba muy lleno y no había suficiente personal para atender las necesidades de los huespedes. El lugar de la piscina era muy bonito, pero el agua de la piscina estaba muy fría, no pudimos difrutar de ella. Si regresara, tal vez fuera en temporada baja y en estaciones calientes.

Our stay at Tryp Wyndam Mayaguez was amazing. The room was extremely clean and neat. Everyone was attentive. The restaurant on site was awesome and the food was delicious.

The bathroom air extraction unit was making lots of noise all night and I couldn't sleep. The staff was amazing and helped me with everything in their power.

Room was small, very narrow hall to enter the unit. This made it tricky just to roll in luggage. Room was freezing. Guest have no control over AC settings. Front desk advised AC was controlled offsite and they had no way to access it to help me. I finally unplugged the unit for the night and plugged it back in when checking out the next morning. Thankfully it was only a one night stay to continue the road trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. They brought in an extra blanket. Location is very convenient to Mayaguez town Square. Enjoyed a night out viewing Three Kings decorations. Casa Abu is a nice little restaurant for dinner and breakfast that is accessible from the hotel parking lot.
