The Crescent Hotel is on the Georgian crescent overlooking the park and is a perfect location for going to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Our only small quibble is that there is Open Mic night on Fridays and we were right above the bar, so we could hear the bass playing, but it wasn't too bad as we were on the third floor. Otherwise, it was quiet and very convenient and a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good with a nice range of choices. We will definitely stay again when we go to the theatre in Scarborough.

This hotel was very convenient for the weekend while I was at Oliver's Mount watching the racing. Prices were reasonable. My room was very clean. There is only one lift in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Staff customer service skills were Great . This hotel does have a resturant for evening meals. They also have a bar. This hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the train station. This hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. This hotel is family - friendly. I would stop at this hotel again in the future

Breakfast was freshly cooked and I was very happy to be able to order how I would like an egg cooked. Staff were very friendly.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a different one around the corner the night before and what a difference our stay here was. Staff friendly, accomodation and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully cooked! Homemade nom nom. We were made to feel welcome and will be going back with our little boy for sure! Thank you, your staff are a credit.

Annual trip to Scarborough for the cricket The Crescent is the best hotel I have found. I especially like the new menu in the lounge (along with the Scarborough Fair beer at 6%) I think they need to think about global warming (who would have thought that you might need air conditioning in Scarborough?). Some fans in the rooms might be an idea.

This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again

Well located for my trip to the Spa music venue. The Hotel has a great bar and outside area with music on all day. The only downside was the suffocating heat in my room.

We had a lovely stay at the Crescent hotel. It's a traditional seaside hotel, a lovely big building in a brilliant location. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely outside bar where we enjoyed a night cap after returning from the open air theatre. The music was a little loud in the outside bar, could maybe be a little bit quieter for conversation but not a big issue.

Amazing staff, friendly and attentive. Beautiful hotel and clean , modern rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Only thing is water pressure was a bit low while in the shower. Breakfast had plenty of options from hot to cold. Lots of drinks available. Tasty food. Loved that we were able to leave our bags and come collect them later.

Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms don't have air-con and ours didn't have opening windows, so a little stuffy, but a fan is provided. The hotel is ideally located for the town and the beach, and there are plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Parking is available for £6 per night, but it is on the street (very easy & close to the hotel though). Would stay again.

Lovely hotel with good old fashioned service. Large, comfortable room, with a super king sized bed. Lovely staff who looked after us. The decor was a little tired, but overall good and would come back and recommend. Great location, very handy for the train station, theatre and sea front.

We stayed at The Central because of its convenient location for the Stephen Joseph Theatre. We were lucky to find parking directly in front of the hotel and purchased a discounted parking permit from the hotel. There are plenty of parking garages nearby as well. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The room on the third floor was a decent size with all the basics including an ironing board and iron. It looked out on a main road with several bars but the noise, even on a Friday night, was minimal. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good. A very nice stay and we would definitely return, but perhaps would ask for a room overlooking The Crescent.
