We had an excellent stay. The hotel was perfectly situated and comfortable. Beware though!! The hotel amenities show "secure onsite parking" which is why we reserved this hotel. This is not true. When we arrived we were informed that the only parking was street parking and they would sell us a permit for a few pounds. We ended up finding a parking space on the street 15 minutes walk away that w had to do with all our luggage.

Hotel was ok, wasn't the friendliest of reception or host staff. Room was nice enough, shower not brilliant but room was clean and comfortable. Limited choice for breakfast.

The hotel had no air con, but fan was given on request. Staff polite and happy to help. Plumbing was questionable. Showers were adequate, but water pressure not good. Heard a couple of other guests complaining they had no cold water to fill a kettle, and no water for shower. Our bath was very slow in draining water, with water still in the bath the following day. Breakfast was good, however, dining places often missing salt, pepper and items of cutlery. Waiting staff seemed inexperienced, but was start of season, so am sure will get better. Location just off sea front and parking close to hotel using parking permits from hotel. Would stay there again

We were allocated a very tired room that had seen far better days. The shower didn’t drain. The breakfast was not good. We went out for breakfast day #2. The staff tried to charge us for the room again after we had paid Expedia in full. The location was good. We would not stay at this hotel again.

Lovely stay Nice friendly helpful staff

Room was very spacious. Beds made every day, cups changed and ample clean towels. Also very accommodating to our dog. Would have given a higher score if it were not for the lack of air-conditioning. A fan just doesn't cut it in hot weather. Also, breakfast was ok, but would have been nice to have a bit more choice; maybe some pastries and more fruit options. Otherwise a decent hotel, well located near attractions.

We had an overnight stay here as we were attending a concert at the Congress theatre. We were very pleased with our choice as it is just across the road from the theatre and the hotel itself was pleasant. It's only about a 5 or 10 minute walk to the town centre. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and there was a nice breakfast, cooked to order. There's plenty of street parking and I would recommend buying a permit from the hotel (£2.50) which lasted from our check in until check out the next day. We parked just around the corner from the hotel. I'd stay here again.

Tv needed attention on first day but promptly dealt with. We were there in the heatwave and there was no air conditioning in the room. Tap in bathroom noisy. Shower gel container not working properly and hard to press. No telephone in room for emergencies. Cleanliness can be improved. Our bedroom was not cleaned on our last day. Breakfast choice poor

The room smelt of damp. The wall in the bathroom, was visibility damp. Breakfast was very poor quality. The lady serving started arguing, when I asked about the wrong flavour of tea being served, and she still got the breakfast order wrong, dispite, asking several times and writing it down. The place was clean, but very tired. I dont expect to be told breakfast was at eight o'clock, however on stating that this was too early, a later time was agreed . I would not return

Staff were friendly but not really that engaged The room we had needed to be changed as the heating was stuck on full blast but this was done with no issues at all Nice big room, nothing else really stood out Didn't have breakfast

A comfortable one nights stay, in a clean double room. Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly, and helpful. Would definitely stay again! :-)

Good value for money, family run business. Little basic on the breakfast for the cost but otherwise friendly staff and clean venue. Gets my recommendation and i am looking forward to my 3rd stay
