Wow! I was not expecting a modern hotel in the park.

Friendly staff. Recent change in breakfast process makes it slower and more difficult for early morning safaris.

Meh. That's about the best word for it. It's not the staff or facilities, but the general service is just not up to par for Accor. Ask for an African tea - wait 30 minutes and get a cup of water with a tea bag. Dinner? A very expensive mediocre buffet - there is zero option for anything else or a place to go because, well, you're a game park - in a cafeteria-like setting. It was not good. Many more options close by for a better experience, and you won't wonder why you chose this place over the others.

Nice comfortable resort in the midst of Akagera. Everything was well done. Be aware that food prices at hotel are too high for the location
