The staff were great however the hotel is looking very dated. The door frame looked like it had been kicked in more than once. The carpets, curtains and overall decor were really old. That said, the room was clean yet basic.

Presently surprised by the hotel. Originally from the area and passed the property many times. Rooms were great, although a second room (occupied by another family member) was a little outdated. Very comfortable bed and a good-sized sofa bed too. Ample parking is available around the property; remember to input your number plate on the system. The meals were a little hit and miss. Breakfasts were good, although very limited - one morning there was no continental left due to a busier earlier sitting. The evening meals were reasonably priced, however my wife ordered Mac n Cheese, Sue reported that it was fantastic, but the garlic bread was very undercooked. Overall, however, it was a very enjoyable short stay.

We stayed in an upgraded room which was fantastic except the shower pressure was diabolical. Breakfast was amazing, bed was really comfortable, staff were wonderful. We stayed in a non upgraded room a day before this stay and the shower was amazing but the room was really tired. Again the bed was super comfy and brekkie wonderful.

The bathroom decoration and fittings were tired and not well maintained with chips in the enamel bath, stains holes in the walls, seals peeling and missing, however the bedroom are was clean and the bed was comfy.

The walls in the room could do with a damn good clean it looked like there had been water running down them yuk And the walls in the bathroom needed a good scrub and then painted I would have moved but I would have lost my money. We had a relative in hospital so needed close by. I’m sure it all needs refurbished.

The room/bathroom was clean, comfortable & had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. No complaints and would happily stay again. Plenty of free on site parking is also a bonus.:)

Stayed in the superior room this time. What difference, superb standard. Water pressure in shower is lacking but aside from that great little room.

Cheap room. Staff were decent. Room stunk of damp type smell and needs refurb.

The room was very clean. I ate in the bar, the food was ok. Breakfast had a good range of options and the staff provided a good service
