SE apartment, 3rd floor. Tiny, clean, quiet, centrally-located studio apartment with large windows and great views of the city. Nice bathroom but, despite complaints, a broken toilet seat was not replaced.

The property was difficult to locate, especially if arriving in darkness. Directions need to be clearer. Despite being in the vicinity of the Cathedral, area around property is undesirable with graffitied buildings and vagrants sleeping rough. We were allocated 4th floor ‘superior’ apartment which involved climbing 4 flights of narrow stairs with motion-sensor lighting which kept going off before we reached the next landing. The floor area of apartment was considerably reduced due to sloping eaves-type ceiling. Apartment itself was dim and dusty, kitchen poorly equipped and towels, although laundered, were stained and of poor quality. I selected this accommodation based on glowing reviews. These reviews absolutely did not reflect our experience.

Just not convenient. The bed was hard and was a fold up. We are old and had 2 flights of stairs.

The people at this property is very nice and very helpful. Only problem is this apartment is difficult to find for the first time.

Property is spacious but cleaness needs improvement. We had a hard time to find parking and we actually parked somewhere illegal without being aware of it and got fined... Travellers please do research on parking in the area

We had a unit on the 3rd floor, and the view was great. Paolo was very friendly and helpful on the front desk. The unit itself was in need of some TLC - the safe did not work, the toilet was broken with the seat not attached, the shower leaks leaving the bathroom very wet. I would suggest making additional towels available. The unit was small, and likely was a fantastic rental unit a few years ago.

ALL went WELL area was in GREAT location…!!

Room was just what we needed. Windows opened to panoramic view of downtown and had the most beautiful sounds of bell towers and seagulls. Location was central to go explore. Parking is a situation in Porto so we decided to just park right outside and risk it and our car was fine for 2 nights. The cathedral cafe right next door is a must with the nicest owner who loves telling you about his city and sites to see. I also had the best cappuccino here in all the places we went in Portugal!

Fantastic views but no elevator and 4 stories.

Great property in a great location. Easy access to the attractions, dining and shopping options and being basically in the middle of the historic centre was very special.

Great location, close walking proximity to tourist attractions, transportation, convenience stores and restaurants/bars.

Staffs were amazing

The location next to the cathedral was very good. The surrounding neighbourhood was somewhat dark and at times appeared abandoned. However, it proved to be safe despite our initial misgivings. Overall, I would recommend it if you subscribe to their motto of authentic living. Porto is amazing and this apartment puts you in the middle of it all.

Beautiful location. Close to cathedral. Performers in the cathedral square offered constant entertainment from your window. Our apartment was on the third floor, so be prepared. Lots of stairs, hills and cobble stone abound.

The location is right at the foot of the walking ramp from the cathedral, which was amazing, and also 5 minutes walking from train and metro station - so very convenient. Room was nice and clean. The one disappointment was that I could not get into the room before 3 pm and there seemed to be no willingness to prioritize me - They had asked me before my arrival when I expected to get there, which I interpreted to mean they were planning for my arrival time, but I still could not get in until 3 PM. I came from the West Coast USA, so was completely wiped out, jetlagged. My priorities were to put down roots and go to the bathroom - their priorities were for the room to look perfect before I entered. I would have preferred to get in early, drop my luggage, use bathroom, even if everything was not yet perfect.
