Wow! What a great hotel. Very European feeling. Super staff (shout out to Antonio at the front desk for above and beyond customer service). Great view of lake. Easy walk (and funicular) from train. Great breakfast, wonderful city. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The location of the hotel is ideal. The view from my hotel room was fantastic. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. There are plenty of shops and restaurants, all within a couple of minutes walk. For further destinations, such as the main train station, a bus can be taken via the bus stop located a few seconds from the hotel.

Wonderful icon hotel. The view was incredible! Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Loved the room and stay in Lugano. Wasn't sure if we wanted to stay away from the city but this was the right choice. Lots of dining options and great place to walk along the water. Only issue is that parking is a few blocks away. Location was perfect

We really enjoyed Walter Au Lac! It is very centrally located in Lugano and makes everything very walkable. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay! Very clean, air conditioning worked well, and the view was spectacular! Great restaurants, a beach and other things nearby. Highly recommend and would return to this hotel if we find ourselves in the area again!

Excellent location with an amazing view of the Lake from our balcony. A few steps away from the old town for shopping and restaurants. Friendly and efficient staff, with immediate response to additional amenities. Highly recommended.

Love the hotel because it’s right there by the lake with a beautiful view of Como. Lots of restaurants nearby and walkable to everything.

Stunning hotel and views. Amazing breakfast

Perfect spot to look out over the lake. Nice rooms with a good breakfast selection. Close to everything and during our stay there was a free open air jazz concert close by that we could just sit out on the balcony on listen to at night. Definitely recommend staying here.
