Second time we’ve stayed here and it’s become the preferred option for visiting friends who live nearby in Oxford. It’s recently renovated, super clean and very comfortable. It’s self checkin but lots of comms from staff and a very straightforward process. Also found staff to be very responsive when messaging to arrange a late checkout. Rooms might be a bit small for a multi day stay, but for one or two nights it’s perfect. Near a bus stop with connections to city centre and train station, easily walkable to restaurants, bars and cafes around Iffley and Cowley Road.

This is a sweet guest house with a walkable location and neighbourhood feeling The room was certainly cozy with a terrific shower and really good mattress! It uses a self check-in feature with no available staff yet response time online was swift and helpful. All in all a nice option from the typical hotel experience…..

We appreciated a cost effective way to have 3 of us in one room (my husband and our 26 year-old-daughter). We had the "Superior Family Room" (Room 7), with 2 queen beds and 1 bathroom, with the beds in separate bedrooms and the bathroom off the slightly larger room. The room was clean and offered a good place to sleep. The downside is that the room is quite tight, and frankly, it's not a good place to hang out, eat, or do anything other than sleep. I was a little worried that we were too far from town -but that was not an issue, and I was grateful. I had no idea that Oxford was such a tourist attraction and town was PACKED.. the short and frequent busride was a good buffer to get to/from and the bus 3/3A ran quite frequently. I was also super frustrated. The wifi password was actually an email address. Unfortunately, email addresses will NOT be transmitted through Hotels.com. Thus, I had to ask someone else at the facility for the password (I had to hang out in the hall to wait for someone to come out). I really needed it to get my work done. So hosts... I suggest that you one or all of the following: a) change the wifi password to something that it is NOT an email address b) leave the password in the room (I did eventually see it on the front door) c) do NOT send it through hotels.com

Very easy to find with the bus stop from city centre just over the road. Outside the property could do with a bit of TLC but inside it was lovely. Our studio had everything we needed though the enormous window onto the patio meant it was very warm! Check in was very easy. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at 192, it was clean and modern. Excellent location for getting the bus into oxford. There is a bus stop pretty much outside the property. You need to get the 3 or 3a, this takes you into the centre or all the way to the train station. We would stay here again if we came back to Oxford!

We loved staying here! There was a bus from the city center that drops you off right in front of the property. It is also only a 20-25 walk to the main city center with shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and we loved the tray with teas and coffee. The communication was very smooth and we heard back promptly when we had questions. We loved our stay and would definitely come here again!

shops were nearby and was easy to check-in. But the main problem was the bed bugs. The beds were not clean and at night couldn't sleep at all due to bed bugs.

Conveniently located on a city bus route. Walk to town centre takes about 20 to 25 minutes. Large glass wall faced south into the back garden area. The automated check in was easily navigated.

Very convenient location and exceptionally clean and well furnished room. Self check in worked well and the team were very accommodating when I messaged or rang them. Would definitely stay here again. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable and the room was perfectly quiet!

We really enjoyed the location of the hotel, it's easy to access the city center and there are great cafes and pubs nearby. It's a self check-in hotel, but the procedure is very easy, we had no problems with that. Also the staff is very nice and kind and it was easy to send them a message and they've replied very quickly. The room was very nice and clean, it had great water pressure in the shower and the bed was comfortable. The only downside for us was that the front door to the property and the doors to the rooms were banging very loudly, if you didn't hold them while closing. We were staying in the room on the first floor just next to the entrance, so we were woken up many times by those doors.

Staff very friendly however did not respond to various issues and no phone number to reach them. Larger rooms might be better. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Good location for a short walk in to Oxford. Ideal for a few days away with plently to do in Oxford. We stayed in the studio at the back which looked out on the garden, had a small kitchen, and a bath. Would reccomend staying in either of the back rooms which have outside seating. You can hear people coming and going, and doors as they are heavy in the property, but this did not affect our stay or disturb my sleep. This might be because we stayed at the back of the property on the lower ground floor. Check-in was easy using the kiosk, you will recevie a code a week before your stay which you type onscreen and your keycard is generated. The property are then contactable via Expedia, an email, or by phone with prompt responce times.
