Large, comfortable room in a well-situated location

We had a wonderful stay in Erfurt. As a group of 9, we required 3 rooms and Nancy and the rest of the staff were so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable by upgrading our rooms. My German isn’t very good (OK, it’s basically non existent), but Nancy was patient with my attempts and happy to explain things in English. Our visit coincided with the Erfurt Oktoberfest which was just down the road. We had a lot of fun at the festival. The hotel is across the street from the Petersberg Citadel, which was marvellous to explore. Our visit coincided with the Erfurt Oktoberfest which was just down the road. This was loud during the day but did not extend beyond 11pm (we stayed at the festival until then anyways!) I ended up in the penthouse suite which offered nice views of the town. It was a great suite for everyone to meet and play cards. Lots of chairs so all 9 of us had a seat to play. It was alone on the floor, so it was quiet and I heard no noise (I cannot speak to the rooms on lower floors that the other members of my party had). The bed was soft and pillows were good. I had a great sleep. Bedroom was equipped with a fan which was definitely appreciated given the got quite warm during the stay. Bathroom was clean, well equipped, and had heated floors. Absolutely loved the bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped and we made use of the plates, cutlery, and cups. Did not use the element so I cannot speak to it. Convenient location. No parking on site, but a public parking lot is a block away (12 Euro/day). We did not purchase the breakfast, but there are a couple of bakeries a short walk away; one with indoor seating. Initially a rough, slow start getting a key during an early evening arrival (use intercom to get a code to access keys). Staff during morning hours very friendly.

Very large family room. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Nice small hotel. Nice people. No one there after 5 till morning so need a couple keys. No ac but can open windows and quiet in back. Close to all the key sites.

The greeting from the receptionist was wonderful and the hotel was close to things I wanted to see. Very quiet too. I couldn’t have asked for better.

Das kleine bezaubernde Hotel befindet sich in zentralster Lage 3 Fußminuten zum Dom und 8 Minuten bis zur Krämerbrücke. Das Hotelpersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, behaglich und gut ausgestattet. Unsere nächste Reise nach Erfurt führt definitiv wieder in das Hotel Garni am Domplatz👌

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel mit Stil, geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Zusätzlich perfekt gelegen, in Fußweite zum Dom und schönen Restaurants. Das war ein Erlebnis.

Das Hotel ist wunderbar zentral gelegen, die Zimmer modern eingerichtet und das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker. Man kann über das Hotel Parkplätze in der benachbarten Garage (Duplexstellplätze!) buchen. Eine prima Adresse für den Aufenthalt in Erfurt.

Tolle Lage direkt am Dom, sehr freundliche Rezeption und geräumiges Zimmer. Es hat alles gepasst.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Frühstück mit kreativen Brotaufstrichen u.ä.wie Currypesto, Lachsterrine, Basilikum-Frischkäse, home-made Kuchen, Waffeln und diversen anderen Köstlichkeiten. Wer gerne in kleineren, überschaubaren Hotels übernachtet, dem sei dieses Haus ans Herz gelegt.

Waren spontan für eine Nacht da, Zimmer war sehr schön und Bett bequem. Gute Lage. Alles sehr sauber! Waren sehr zufrieden.
