We love this bed & breakfast!

We had a great time at The Ruse. This was the best stay we had on our California road trip! Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The groundskeeper, both front desk workers, and chef for breakfast specially went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible.

This is a clean property. Not really comparable to other hotels/ resorts since there are no food options on site other than breakfast. The room and the facilities are well maintained.

Unique spot within walking distance of Healdsburg! Quality and amenities were fantastic.

The Ruse was really incredible! And despite our joke before check-in, there was no ruse. We weren't totally sure what to expect upon arrival, but our room was fantastic - updated, clean, well-appointed - just all-around lovely. We stayed in "The Palmer" with three adults (sisters) and it worked perfectly with a king bed, pull out sofa, generous bathroom and perfectly ample storage area for 3 suitcases. We also loved having the second entry to our room (via the bathroom) lead right to the pool/hot tub area (and breakfast!). The included breakfast was great, and The Pavilion is a beautiful room. It's an easy walk to town (although on a dark road, so not for everyone), and we would very gladly stay here again. All the B&B amenities with a very high-end hotel vibe, and great service with any questions or needs. The weather wasn't warm enough to use the outdoor amenities, but this would be extra fantastic during the warmer months - plus two patios private to our room. We did love an evening soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring. 10/10 recommend!

I have nothing negative to say. And I usually always find something I don’t like. So that’s pretty amazing. I Will be back to stay here again.

Beautiful oasis type setting in Healdsburg but not in the main square. Breakfast was amazing and served by the chef himself.
