The location is indeed strategic, but the downside is the filthy room. It looks like it's never been cleaned, the sheets are yellow and have blood stains. There's no hot water, and the faucets leak. There are also lots of cockroaches in the room.

It was my fault for booking at last minute on a long weekend where people flocked to jogja, but the 3x price mark-up was too crazy. I paid over 600k for a room priced less than 200k on a normal day. If you have enough time to book a lodging for just 1 person, just get a capsule hotel downtown for 200k or under, you'd get better facilities, even with shared bathrooms.

Not the same as the photos in the app. Firstly, it is very difficult to find the location as the hostel is in a small alley and the gate is locked at night so you have to detour to reach the location. Secondly, the room was not clean, the bed sheet and pillow were full of stains. The dirty sink was never cleaned. The bathroom was very dirty, the shower did not work and only twelve paint cans were provided to collect water. The toilet could not be flushed so had to use a dipper.
