We found the room clean and comfortable although the heating/cooling unit in the room slightly noisy. An additional electric portable radiator was available in the room which maybe was there due to this issue. Staff very friendly and helpful. Using the railway station parking was only 7€ a day and only across the road so a better price than the on site price. The bar a great selection of wines as per the theme but also local beers and the normal selection of spirits.

Amazing hotel, excellent service, welcoming and professional staff, location few minutes walking to the center, rooms are wide and perfect, breakfast is excellent with all varieties ,i really recommend it very strongly for families and friends .

Nice hotel near the station, buzzing restaurant and bar and lots of wine. Breakfast was comprehensive and plentiful, staff lovely, parking in station across the road was inexpensive, town has multiple dining and drinking options and is only a short walk away.

Across the street from RR station. 15 minute walk to main Christmas markets, excellent staff. RR Station unmanned Sunday mornings, which was a hassle when my train got cancelled and i had to "wing it" to get to Brussels.

Liked the location. Dislikes included some lights not working in the room, person checking me out was clueless, absolutely no Wi-Fi signal in the room but was available in the hallway, different pieces of wall trim both in the hallway and room were hanging loose and shower barely worked. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at.

First impression is ok. The room was very quiet. Though time shows its effects. For me as business person the breakfast was good or better, except for the timing (only as from 07:30).

The staff was great. The hotel was clean. The only downside, a small bathroom and no facecloth. But that seems to be a Dutch hotel thing. Stayed in 3 during my 2 week vacation.

We only stayed 3 nights but plan on returning next year for longer as the area and hotel are lovely. The hotel is clean and right opposite station. The breakfast was very nice. The one mark against it is that there is a lift, but we were told you need to get the key to use it? When my husband asked for the key on reception on our arrival, he was told the man helping us with our cases had it. A member of staff carried my case up on arrival and did not use the lift. We could not be bothered to get the mysterious key when we left, so we carried our cases down. We were going to a concert in Maastricht, along with many other people from the hotel, not travelling with us. I asked reception about return trains to Maastricht from Valkenburg Station opposite hotel and time of last train but the gentleman on reception was not able to provide any information other than where to get train tickets..............from an automatic machine on the platform. It would have helpful if the hotel printed a flyer explaining train times, especially when so man people were travelling to Maastricht for the concert from the hotel. I am sure we were not the only people to need that information. I do not want to give the impression that staff were not friendly, because they were but they did not seem to understand we needed information.

Hotel is good for short stay, I had a one person BR so cannot comment for regular rooms. Breakfast was very good!

a quite easy going & friendly people got upgraded to a spacious room with sauna & bathroom. food was very good (breakfast included) left very early in the morning- the staff got me small breakfast "to go" (unusual in the business) !

Kamer schoon, gezellig restaurant. Uitgebreid ontbijt. De ligging is perfect. Tegenover het station (niets van gehoord) en op loopafstand van de restaurantjes, grotten enz. Parkeren (tegen betaling) op eigen terrein.

Aanbevolen locatie, loopafstand van het stadscentrum, tegenover het station. Goed restaurant met mooie gerechten en wijnen. Ook prima ontbijt echt veel waarde voor je geld !

I enjoyed the proximity to the train station. The hotel is located right next to Valkenburg train station and just 10 minutes by train from Maastricht train station. The double room was spacious. The walls are painted dark brown. They seem intimidating. The refrigerator didn't work. In the room I found three worried beetles. The price during the Vrijthof concerts in Maastricht is overpriced. Nevertheless, the hotel is a good option.
