Room was lovely but very hot , one fan to cook a family room in 35 degree heat was not sufficient. Room was clean and restaurant was exceptional- it’s a shame it’s closed on Tuesday and Wednesday (2 out of 4 nights of our stay)

This property is spotless, staff super friendly, delicious breakfast included and the attached restaurant was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Front desk was so nice. Room was very clean. Loved the sky lights that could open for fresh air. It was a comfortable room for 4. The location was convenient for our day driving trips.

What an amazing hotel and front restaurant. The staff was great and very good full breakfast. I well be back to stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Europark , the Hotel was amazing and the foid in the restaurant was also really good , was amazed on how clean the hotel was , not a spec of dust . We WILL be visiting again

Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. They also have a very nice breakfast with many selections.

Great hotel and location for Europa Park. Only complaint is that restaurant and bar were shut during our stay due to holidays. We were not told this in advance. I chose the venue because of everything available on one site. It would have been nice to be made aware of the closure beforehand.

Stayed here while visiting Europa Park. It is in a quiet town and was very comfortable and clean. Great Wifi! Would definitely stay here again.

All good, except we hadn't realised there was no aircon (our fault) the top floor rooms were incredibly hot on an evening. Room was very good size and clean. Staff were very friendly. A little overpriced but we did stay in peak season.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff was great and the hotel location is just one autobahn exit (5 minutes) away from Europa Park. The beds are very comfortable and the shower was great.

The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast is amazing.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Good breakfast with variety. Spotless rooms but ,.as with many European hotels , no a/c . Highly recommend it

Wonderful village!...great location for me to Lahr(where I met and married my wife)..also 8kilos. from a ferry into France...as for the Hotel Engel, they could put a fan(cheap) in the rooms there....some nights, very very hot!!...but I would still refer friends, family and business associates.As for the food ,I would easily rate it #1 on the German food .

What a wonderful experience. It was a prime example of great German living in a country environment. Everzthing was done at the best possible level. Nothing was left to chance. Our room was huge and extremely well appointed. Exceptional value for money. Breakfast was excellent for range and quality. Dinner was the onlz caution. The meals are HUGE. best to order entree unless you are a very big eater. Quality is excellent though. Nothing much to do in the area except watch the grass grow.

Schone nette en mooi kamer. Rustig hotel, mijn zoon is snel overprikkeld van geluiden, maar hier is de akoestiek erg goed! Ontbijt is goed en heerlijke (bonen)koffie apparaat met veel specialiteiten. Vriendelijk personeel, die ongevraagd een tafel voor ons vrij hield voor het ontbijt (we waren met 7) Misschien klein minpuntje, het bed was vrij hard. Europapark én Rulantica dichtbij (10 minuten met de auto) Maar verder meer dan tevreden en voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar
