Property is chic, well designed and has excellent service. Excellent boutique style hotel with comfortable beds, exceptional air conditioning and staff.

Good location, room was pretty beat up and next to elevator which we heard all night long as it wrapped next to our bedroom walls. Loud music permeated from street most of night which could be heard from room. Front desk friendly however Luca restaurant personnel were rude. Laundry was expensive - $200+ for a few shirts and trousers.

The most beautiful hotel -,stylish decor, fantastic amenities and luxurious rooms. Great à la carte breakfast and wonderful staff. The welcome drink and personal collection from the lounge was a nice touch by Vidi. And the best bit? You honestly couldn’t get a better location - in the very heart of Florence. Close the windows and you can hear a pin drop. Absolutely wonderful. I’ll never stay anywhere else in Florence ever again

Room was clean and all the hotel staff was very polite and friendly. Great location for walking around. I would stay here again.

The location was amazing. The only better was the kindness and efficiency of the hotel staff. The front desk team was wonderful and effective. The restaurant team was kind. The food was perfect. Also, the house keeping team were efficient without fail. We will return!

La Gemma is a beautiful boutique hotel centrally located in Florence. The decor is stunning. The hotel offers a wonderful breakfast that is made to order. Everything we ordered was delicious. It should be noted that the hotel is in a busy area so I would suggest a room not facing the Main Street if you like a quieter experience. The hotel offers a beautiful launch pad for your Florence travel experience.

This hotel was spectacularly good and we’ve stayed at a fair number of 5 stars over the years. Only 2-3 years old, this 25 room boutique hotel oozes class and has a fantastic vibe and bold color scheme. The staff and service are superb…we were very impressed. And the location couldn’t be better.

Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Hotel perfectly placed and a classy but comfortable ambience. Wouod have liked to have had a kettle in the room (or free hot water and tea/coffee in the bar area alternatively)

I think a buffet style breakfast should be adopted

We had the most amazing stay at hotel La Gemma. The staff is exceptional, the rooms/esthetics are perfect, + delicious food (especially their chocolate loaf cakes❤️). We can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

Room and staff were wonderful. Great location. Great breakfasts. Only negatives-- Luca's Restaurant.: staff was great; the food unmemorable. Shower could use more water pressure and a non-slip mat.

The hotel was centrally located near Republic Plaza. Was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Room was very nice. Asked for a quiet room away from elevators which they handled for us. Staff was very attentive. Breakfast was sit down and order which was a nice change from other self serve that we experienced. Overall a nice hotel

The hotel is beautiful. We checked in early to find out we had been assigned 302 across from the elevator which according to the map of the floor as the noisiest and the smallest room. We asked to be moved and the desk said they would “try”. Sorely disappointed.
