Great spot!

Great place to spend the night as we were passing through on a road trip. The bathroom of our suite exceeded our expectations and the rest of the room met our expectations for this type of accommodation. The self serve breakfast was very helpful getting our day started.

Everything was great...wonderful play to stay.

The staff on site were pleasant. When I checked in there were 4 people outside trying to gain entrance and could not remember the access code and did not have their phone with them. The number they all believed they had been provided did not work on the key pad.My access code that had been provided did not work either so I called the number provided and though they gave me the access code number to get us all in the building there was a lot of sighing and and impatience on the other end. It was not a great welcome to the site. The room was clean and comfortable though it was quite small. The air conditioner did not seem to work and as the room was on the top floor it was very hot. The communal kitchenette was nice though it was always in use so no opportunity to make use of it.

What was unique was that there are no staff on site. Check-in was by code and breakfast was help yourself in the kitchen and wash up your own items. Not a problem and the place was very quiet- perhaps too quiet for some. So not really a hotel if by that you expect a manned reception and a bar. But the room was very good and well appointed and the hot tub and seating area a bonus, and the location on the river bank was great.

Perfect place to land in New Glasgow. Great room on main floor looking out at the river. Bring your swimsuit for the hot tub.

This is a fine place, well appointed, nicely updated and comfortable. Lockbox codes deliver the door key; there is no staff except someone who drops clean towels by your door in the morning. Breakfast is available in a kitchen where you can find eggs to cook, bread or bagels to toast plus juice and coffee, cereal, bananas and apples. TV receives only apps such as Netflix and Prime, which would be good enough except we came during the World Cup and were unable to watch any games. Also no live news channels. As well, the town had 3-4 excellent restaurants among a few sadly closed shops and boarded-up businesses. Recommended for the most part.

The property was lovely and well appointed -owners really thought of everything that a traveller might need. If you are a light sleeper then the very nearby train sounding its horn in the early hours might be a concern.

Great stay and lovely rooms… clean and modern in a good location. Nice amenities tho did not use including sauna, hot tub and fire pit. Enjoyed backyard area with out dog. Nice people who really aim to please! Lots of options for a self serve breakfast.

This place was hidden in gem, very convenient self check in, It was extremely clean very well supplied and quiet. It was true pleasure to stay here and we will certainly return.

This property is a must stay. The rooms are modern, spacous and very clean. There is a communal kitchen on the upper floor stocked with everything you could want for breakfast, as well as a hot tub and gazebo with a gas fire pit. If we are ever in New Glasgow again we will definately book the River Inn. Thank you Barb.

Lots of choice for breakfast and coffees. Clean and plenty utensils and pots for cooking.

Clean, easy to find, lots of parking
