Lovely spot in a quiet part of the County. Great breakfast, and charming building. Only thing is I wish there were tissues and shower caps in the bathrooms. Little thing! I loved the books/little library in the room.

I fell in love with this place ! it’s literally a hidden Gem, simple check in & out. close to the beach and very cozy clean and calm there’s a fire place and a patio to have your morning coffee in peace. It must sound scripted but it’s a honest review from a one timer <3 1000% recommended.

We had an excellent stay. Beautiful inn, beautiful room. Very quiet and relaxing. We had dinner in the dining room and it was delicious. We highly recommend and will return some day.

Lovely property and quiet. Room was well sticked and top ups for coffee available in the common areas. Only wish was that breakfast be included even if we had to pay a little more. Very much recommended

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Wallis suite. The TV choices were a bit limited as there was no cable TV and the World Cup was on. LOL It would have been nice if a free continental breakfast had been included or at least one free breakfast in the restaurant since it was a minimum two-night stay. Otherwise, it was very clean and we had a beautiful view. We were grateful for the minifridge and the tea, coffee, water and milk and creamers. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place to stay out of the bustle of Picton and in the delights of Prince Edward County. Totally relaxed with excellent, individually prepared breakfasts at a pace designed to slow you down and appreciate being away from home and work. Super rooms and generous tea and coffee allowances. Garden and patio to enjoy. Lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This will be our second visit. We brought our big Belgian malinois and stayed in the Barker Suite. It was very convenient for our dog to have a separate exit from the main building on the first floor. The room also came with a wraparound balcony which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast menu is always fantastic! Next time we will make sure to stay for the full weekend to enjoy dinner and drinks as well. Location wise, very close to some of our favourite wineries, Base 31, and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay, the check-in was easy and the location is excellent. For those with electric cars there is a level 2 charger on site with 2 J-1772 connectors.

C’était un hôtel mignon et calme, cependant il y avait plusieurs insectes dans la chambre. C’était propre mis à part ça!

This is really a nice place but it needs some work and some TLC. The outside space is beautiful. We had access to a fire pit but we had not brought a lighter or lighter fluid so we could not use it. We had reached in asking about lighters but didn’t get a response. There didn’t seem to be any in the main area when we checked. The water in the bathroom spells very bad. It was also a different colour when we first ran the tap. There are no signs that you cannot use the water in the tap. But I didn’t feel very safe doing so. Hopefully they can make these fixes and make this is an incredible place.

It was a unique, quiet and clean property. Check in and check out were quick and easy. There was no staff around during our one night stay, but they are available to help with any issues via call or text. Our room was clean and well maintained, but a bit small. Overall it was a beautiful property to visit and stay at.

Great stay and lovely little corner of the County. Amenities and restaurant on site a great asset. Was a little noisy because we were on ground floor by the restaurant… and upstairs above us very noisy at late night with people walking in shoes and playing piano at various times… but other than that a fabulous place to stay!

Lovely property, amazing stuff. Breakfast was outstanding!

The info for the place indicated that there is no front desk. It also says that you'll get an email 24 hours before check in hours if arriving outside those hours. Otherwise, it says that a host will greet you. We got there at 1/2 hour before check in at 3pm. No one there then or after 3pm. No email either. I had to call to get the code. The only time we saw staff was next morning at breakfast. Room was nice and we took one with the ensuite. Grounds we nice too. However, the water in the taps, sink and toilet stunk to high heaven! I expect there is sulfer in the water. Unfortunately, it was much more than an inconvenience. we kept the washroom door closed and the exhaust fan on all night. There was a water cooler on our floor where there was just enough water left to fill the nespresso reservoir. So, whomever needed water from that unit would be SOL. Except for the glitch at check in and the water issue, the place was fine. The drive to different towns was no big deal. The place was quiet and relaxing. I wish there was a way to see the falls. Cottage chairs out back in the gazebo is a nice way to pass time and listen to birds and crickets.
