Amazing breakfast and first class service. Host was very attentive to details, the property is beautiful. Location is great, walking distance to a working monastery and to the town of Cortona. A peaceful spot and very safe. Beds were comfortable and the room was well appointed.

We loved that we could easily walk into Cortona proper—such a charming town to explore. It’s also a perfect jumping-off point to visit other stunning Tuscan cities. An amazing property that is managed with love and care. The location was easy to find using Google Maps and we parked at the door. The view was spectacular, the service was incredible and the evening meal on the terrace was one of the best we have had. A refreshing pool and a 5 star breakfast buffet to set us up for the day.

The breakfast assortment and quality were amazing. The view from the patio was very beautiful during breakfast. The manageress was very warm and welcoming.

Our overall experience at this hotel has been amazing from start to finish, Silvia make us feel so welcome and went out of her way to make our stay one we will remember. At check in I mentioned I was gluten intolerance the next day at breakfast there was a homemade GF cake. So helpful with local information. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had an amazing shower all cleaned to a high standard. Beautiful pool and terrance area. We will be going back.

Host, Silvia, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast choices were plentiful, fresh, and healthy. Dinners were of high quality and very well presented. Chef and servers very nice and professional.Ride to the center of Cortona is short and easy.

A cute little hotel on the hillside. The hostess was very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was wonderful because of the homemade items. We loved the homemade jams.

Place was quiet and comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We were treated to an incredible spread of delicious treats for breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful recommending places of interest and tips for where to find a good dinner. Would definitely return when in the area.

We spent a wonderful week here. Very quiet and relaxing which is just what we were looking for. Sylvia and Claudio did everything to make our stay perfect. The Locanda is newly refrubished, ultra clean and comfortable. Torreone is a small town with just a few houses and a nice bar/cafe, other than the Locanda. It's a pleasant walk into Cortona town. There are a few inclines to deal with depending on which route you take, but we found it absolutely fine. A good way to walk off all the fantastic meals we had. Amazing breakfast and be sure to check out Organika in Cortona which is run by the same team. Highly recommended.

Accueil sympathique, en français malgré mon épouse italienne, petit hôtel comme nous les aimons, chambre propre, spacieuse bien équipée, Wifi performant, belle vue sur la vallée embrumée en ce mois de décembre. Lieu calme, le service du petit déjeuner est excellent, un personnel dévoué à la clientèle, dommage que nous n’ayons pu le prendre en terrasse (température), un large choix pour le buffet ; et le tout dans une ambiance chaleureuse.
