Our stay was really lovely. Rose and the other ladies made us delicious breakfast and dinner - the best that we had in Belize. The property was comfortable and conveniently located. It felt very safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had hoped this place would be more like a jungle lodge but it really was more of a rural neighborhood house on the main thoroughfare. The family cabin seemed a lot more like a blah Airbnb. Wasn't too clean but wasn't disgustingly dirty. Just didn't feel like it was worth the amount we paid or really worth it at all. You could not walk to monkey falls from there. To go anywhere you would need a car, which we had, fortunately. The front door didn't have any bolt. And the A/C only worked in the rooms leaving the shared living space blazing hot even with trying to flood the living space with air from the rooms. The owner was super nice but this place just wasn't worth it. We stayed in a dumpy cabin at another place in town that turned out to be a better fit for us than this.

This place is secluded. Parking is easy and simple on sight. It rained at night. Bird paradise during the day. Beautiful toucan perched right above our cabin. The food was ordered by phone (Whatsapp) message from kitchen and brought to our cabin. It was amazing. The cabin had a porch with two hammocks. Porched was fully enclosed in net, even floor, to prevent mosquitoes. Cabin had good functional AC, bathroom with toiletries, kitchenette with all utensils. The cabin itself is not "new." Think of something a little rustic, quaint, outdated, and secluded. It had three beds in big room. Hanging curtain was pulled across room to provide privacy from the other beds. Very dark at night. It's all forest. But we loved it.

I’m glad I chose my stay outside of the center of town. If you have a car and are debating where to stay I would chose this place because it’s so serene. There are 3 small houses on the property and they are all surrounded by trees. The hammocks in the porch were ideal. The breakfast was so good and the eggs I had there were the brightest ( real) eggs I’ve had. You’ll see hummingbirds right outside the restaurant. You can wake up and walk around the garden before you head out to adventures. We also ate in town which is so easy and quick to get to. We drove to monkey falls which is like 3 minutes away off a dirt road which we drove in our regular car . There are no signs to monkey falls but the gps took me there and it’s very beautiful and hidden . We just parked and walked down to it . Hot water was perfect and so are the beds and the staff is very kind. I’m a teacher and needed that peace which I found at this property.

If you are coming to San Ignacio, this is the place to stay! I cannot recommend this place enough and will 100% be staying here again when I come back. Great location, food, accommodations, safety, and vibes. Rose and her family are amazing, and she is an incredible chef. She made us all different meal throughout our time and even made breakfast to go on the day we were leaving early for a tour of the ATM caves! Better than any bigger resort or hotel around the area, it felt like we were the only guests there! Such an amazing and special time spent here.

The cabins are nice and private, very clean, and very nicely decorated. The site is beautifully landscaped and gives you the feel that you are in the jungle. The family that runs this place is amazingly friendly and helpful. Make sure to have some of their cooking in the Hummingbird Kitchen!!

Clean room with everything we needed. Nothing too fancy, but the people were lovely, and the price was right. I would stay here again.

We stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. If you come, don't miss the ATM cave tour - amazing adventure!

Monkey Falls was set in a lovely location right in the jungle. It was quiet and relaxing. We were shown around Rod’s farm which was very interesting. The kitchen makes lovely home made food, including breakfast, which we ate every day. Tours can easily be booked from there and they will pick you up. It’s a short taxi ride from town. All in all a nice place to stay if you want to relax and you like jungle and wildlife.

I recently stayed at The Cabins at Monkey falls in Cayo and had a great time! The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially when I mentioned that the initial bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. They promptly exchanged it for us, and the new bed made a significant difference in our comfort. Aside from that, the atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and willingness to ensure guests have a pleasant experience.

My son and I stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The staff is very warm and caring and we’re available if we needed anything. All of the food they served was delicious and we loved having a small kitchen to prepare meals when we wanted. The area is beautiful and safe. You probably want a rental car unless you like taking taxis. The hot water is not the hottest but when it’s 90 degrees it did not bother us.

The cabins are perfect just a few minutes drive outside of San Ignacio but feels like in the middle of nowhere. Rose and Rod are awesome hosts helping with booking of last minute tours and any info we needed. The grounds around the cabin are perfect. Thanks for a great stay

I loved this. It is out of town so it is quiet and there is easy parking. It is on the way to Caracol so my tour operator picked me up. The tour operators know where it is and it was super safe. There is also a kitchen I didn't realize was onsite for guests only and you can pre-order breakfast and dinner.
