As soon as you walk in, there was a very strong cologne like smell. It was in the entire hotel. It made me nauseous and gave me a headache. I booked to identical room for two nights. One for me And one for a Family member. My room was significantly smaller than the one my family member had. Why are rooms the same price and yet not the same size. Very disappointed Rooms were by the street and it was very noisy. Hotel front desk attendant was very rude when I checked in. Towel heater in the bathroom was not working at all. Shower did not drain properly

Great hotel in excellent location. Peaceful surroundings only a few minutes walk from the central line straight into the West End or stroll to Notting Hill. Plenty of coffee shops etc in immediate surroundings plus M&S food/mini Tesco & Sainsbury's for drinks/snacks. Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient checking in and out. Our room was spacious, modern and had all the amenities we required. The mini fridge is really useful. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Only minor gripe was the blackout curtain not being fitted right up to the wall, so it let the sunshine flood in first thing in the morning, but otherwise fantastic!

The staff were very kind. The room was large and very clean. The bath was very nice with huge fluffy towels. Great place and wonderful location in Notting Hill. I plan to stay there again.

Staff was nice, elevator was broken, staff apologize, but even though I was on crutches, they didn’t offer any options to change rooms or offer credit

There are many different room types available at this hotel and we booked an elite double, which was not the cheapest nor most expensive room. At over £200 a night we were disappointed to be in a very small basement room with low ceiling. We didn’t plan to spend much time in the room so didn’t ask if any other rooms were available, but perhaps we should have done. Our room was LG1 which has an entrance to below stairs service area directly outside, this meant we couldn’t have our curtains open at any time as there were near constant work people/staff outside the window accessing the hotel from the street down the basement stairs. This was particularly disturbing at midnight when laundry/rubbish was being collected and there was a lot of noise and rummaging right outside our window. Other than this, the hotel was very pleasant, with good communal areas, very helpful and polite staff, and a simple but high quality offer for breakfast. We had an issue with accessing the safe and a faulty bathroom door and both were instantly resolved when reported. I would just recommend looking into what type of room you are getting. I would advise the hotel staff inform guests if there will be excessive noise/work taking place outside bedroom windows at anti social hours. If I’d been a single woman in the room I would have been very alarmed.

Great hotel and much nicer than some in this area. Only let down was lift wasn’t working and I was on top floor so a little struggle getting up and down. Overall a nice experience - pillows a little bumpy but nice

Location is wonderful. Close to tube station, within a 10 minute walk we were touring Kensington Palace. Great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Room was huge, comfortable and clean. Shower was excellent. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Will absolutely stay again when visiting London.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops,Portobello Market and not too far from Kensington Gardens. The staff was great, the room was spacious and the bathroom was quite large as well,we really liked the spot and would return the next time we’re in London.
