Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!

Wonderful stay! The host was so helpful to show us around when we first arrived. We would definitely come back!

Excellent host and Excellent space for large family. We were only 4 but jad space for 4 more if we wanted.
