Had a wonderful stay at ARKAMAYA KUSUMA during our trip to Yogyakarta. The resort offers a perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and comfort. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise view and fresh mountain air was truly refreshing. The atmosphere is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the infinity pool overlooking the greenery and city lights was definitely a highlight. The food was also delicious with a good variety of local and western options. A great place for healing, family staycation, or simply escaping the busy city life. Would definitely love to come back again when visiting Yogyakarta. Highly recommended!

The service is good, the resort is still relatively young but the improvements are cool.

The rooms were inadequate, with no mirrors, and the pillows were flat, as if they hadn't been replaced in years. The bathrooms were less than clean, looking dated. Worst of all, the food was bland, lacking any flavor, and many of the menu items were empty. However, the service was good, the staff friendly, and quick. The food was truly bland and not worth the price. Breakfast, in particular, only included fried rice, and side dishes were small fried chicken and a fried egg. This is a less than satisfactory resort for its class.

It’s not like my expectation, because the photo you show in application it’s different, feel disappointed but the service it’s good. Also, I can’t use the Wi-Fi in the cabin.

The hotel staff are very friendly, the cleanliness is lacking, especially the bathroom I entered smelled of urine, I cleaned it myself, it was quite dirty, the room was dusty, 2 rooms, one was wagi, the other had a lot of dust, I saw that they cleaned it 3 days ago, so the dust was quite a lot because the roof was bamboo, suggestions to check the cleanliness, and spray some fragrance before guests enter, other things are OK, the staff are incredibly patient and friendly.

Suitable for those looking for tranquility.. I ordered a glamping room.. the floor is slippery.. I also don't understand even though it's made of wood.. the bathroom is outside.. so it's an effort at night to go to the toilet especially when it rains.. the room size is suitable for families.. spacious... cm the TV remote often errors.. for glamping it's also an effort because you have to open and close the zipper... at night there are lots of termites... 😅😅 so when you wake up in the morning in front of the room full of termites it disturbs the comfort of enjoying the atmosphere. Breakfast is delivered to the room when you check in, you can order directly, there are only 2 menu choices.. I chose fried rice... there is a deposit.. 100 thousand or keep your ID card. The children's pool is less recommended because it is too shallow.. The hotel seems to be poorly maintained, the stairs are slippery with lots of moss... prone to rain or after rain.. even though this hotel is very good in terms of location and atmosphere.. keep up the good work Arkamaya Sembung...

The location is beautiful, the price is really good, the staff are friendly, but the breakfast is not very varied.

The hotel is perfect for healing and reconnecting with nature, surrounded by forests and beautiful views. I stayed in a Tiny House room. The bed was quite spacious, but it left little room for movement, such as for prayer. If you're traveling with a family, it's better to book the glamping option. Nevertheless, I was very satisfied, as I was traveling solo, so the Tiny House room was still very comfortable. There was also a balcony where we could watch the sun rise through the trees. It truly met my expectations of a cabin-like atmosphere abroad. The food, although not a buffet, was quite tasty. Positives: Clean room, cool air conditioning, working water heater, comfortable bed, mini zoo with unique animals, secluded location, and a shuttle bus always ready to take us back to our room. What needs improvement: The cleanliness of the bathroom area near the pool, and the holes in the wood or any open partitions in the Tiny House should be screened to prevent wildlife, such as frogs, from entering. Note: This hotel isn't fully complete yet, as some areas still need construction, so it's understandable that there are some shortcomings. However, these won't significantly impact the comfort or experience of guests. It's definitely worth a 3-day stay here 🥰🥰

For the bathroom, you have to pay attention to cleanliness.

Friendly staff and satisfactory service from arrival to check out, unfortunately it's a bit far from everywhere so you have to prepare snacks for your little one.

Ordered food and waited over an hour. The food arrived cold in the room. It might have been better to eat at the restaurant. Overall, everything was fine, except the room service could probably be improved.

the place is quite comfortable, where the location of the inn is not too far from the city of Jogja. the environment is in a fairly cool forest. the most interesting thing is the swimming pool, with a view of 2 mountains. especially when the afternoon towards dusk, the view is quite serene. there are only a few notes that hopefully can be an improvement to the inn: 1. when in the room the hot water is not on. has been called to CS but the answer is only told to wait 15 minutes for hot water. has been waited for but the water is still not hot. 2. the jogging track is quite fun, I call it a trekking area because it passes through trees and a mini forest in the inn area. but the maintenance is not good. the jogging track is dirty and passes through a mossy area. so you really have to be careful not to slip. 3. the choice of breakfast menu is very minimalist. it seems that it is necessary to add menu variants and there are no cut fruits. so, thank you

The receptionist was not on standby because when I called at around 6 in the morning, she didn't pick up and said to call to inform me about the pick-up car. Then when I WhatsApped about the booking issue, the response was also very slow. Then they also said that we were not allowed to swim without wearing a swimsuit. There were 2 small children, one wearing a singlet and the other wearing a soccer jersey, but they didn't reprimand us. How come they are not consistent with the rules? Then for the deposit issue, from the start they didn't know if there was a deposit.

Please recheck again all facilities before giving the key to customer.

For the view, it's really good, I really like it. For the bathroom, there are lots of mold. So far, I really like the atmosphere and the service is really good.
