Arosa is a beautiful Hotel. My problem was that our bed was absolutely terrible. We sank in on both sides and had to sleep on an incline. I complaint the next morning and Lin at the reception assured my that they will fix the problem and I will have a wonderful night. Guess what nothing happened. A service like this was ok in DDR times but not nowadays und especially not for € 250.00 per night. Otherwise the location and the hotel itself is beautiful.

Hotel staff were very friendly and most spoke English very well. The location is perfect for taking in all the shopping, restaurants, and sight seeing.

We really loved this hotel. Convenient walk from where we parked on the street; in a restricted traffic area so you can easily bring your luggage inside. Quick check in and friendly service. Beautiful hotel with elegant finishes. The breakfast was our absolute favorite of the entire trip! We only spent two days and one night in wenigerode but when we visit again I would stay at this hotel.

That is (for me) the number one hotel in Wernigerode. A better place to stay - if you want to discover this beautiful town - is hardly to find.

Perfect location on the market square, convenient subsidised parking, friendly, highly trained, professional service, beautiful room, comfortable bar, extensive breakfast selection, delicious evening meal in the restaurant. Absolutely recommended in every way.

I traveled to Wernigerode for business but would love to come back on vacation. The town is charming and in a beautiful region of the Harz mountains. An old fashioned steam train provides regular runs from town up to the mountains.The Travel Charme Gothisches Haus hotel is right in the center of the old section of the town making it an enjoyable location to walk from to explore the area. The hotel has a great full buffet breakfast each morning and an in house spa. It provided a relaxing quiet oasis after a day of work and walking around the town. This is my second time to stay at this hotel and the experience was just as good as the first. There is also a full bar and restaurant located inside the hotel.

Travel Charm Hotel is located right in the heart of the market square in Weinigerode. The room was narrow, but nicely furnished. Our room looked out on a garden area and was extremely quiet. The only problem we had was with our air conditioner, which never got the room cool enough for sleeping in early July. We never had it checked out, so our bad. Restaurant was memorable. Nice setting looking out on the square and great service with delicious food. Probably best eating in town. Wine was pricey, but food pretty close to normal price for the quality. Breakfast served in several room settings, wonderful seliction of food and impeccable tidiness of tables. Staff was great all around.

Hotel is a quality four star property, centrally located in Wernigerode. Staff were helpful with tourist information and tour bookings. Local restaurants and shops were metres away. A great base for exploration of the Harz mountains,

We stayed for 3 nights during the "Annual Rathausfest" June 17-19, 2016. We stayed in a Suite towards the courtyard which was very nice and quiet, even though life music was on stage nearby the hotel. If time permits, I would recommend to also see Quedlinburg and Goslar, beautiful little towns nearby, during the stay.
