Love everything about this Hotel and all the staff are so delightful. It’s an annual treat for my mum and I with our dog we love the spa and the beds are extremely comfortable.

The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work!

Great stay and love the spa after a fantastic walk on the estate. Food was good but not as good as our previous visit. Reception staff were excellent but gave up on the cocktail lounge as no one seemed to be available to serve us: didn't spoil our stay but would have been nice. Room fantastic as always.

The staff was amazing as were the grounds and amenities. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.

We had a wonderful 35th wedding anniversary weekend at The Devonshire Arms Hotel. The staff were fantastic in the hotel and at the Spa, always polite, welcoming and professional. The room was lovely and we much appreciated the kind gift and card to start our anniversary weekend celebrations. We had a delicious three course evening meal in the Brasserie. The Spa was perfect for us both and we used it quite extensively during our stay. The walk along the river from the hotel to Bolton Abbey and through the woods to The Cavendish Pavilion made our weekend.

Allot to like about this property. It is in some of most beautiful country there is and you can walk in any direction and it is breathtakingly beautiful..but 5 star it is not. Internet is sparse and could be fixed with 2 words.. star link. The garden in the courtyard is nice but needs some groundwork. If you don't book for dinner.even if you are staying there chances are your not getting to have it..rooms are cosy which means you are tripping into the bed two steps in. For those who know 5 star I would say as they do.. it is the country..and I guess 5 star in the country is different from 5 star in any of the cities

Excellent stay, although not a cheap option. Dog friendly, with fantastic grounds, however, not enough bins. Excellent staff throughout. Most food was excellent, disappointed though with seafood platter.

The most amazing experience, the facilities were fantastic, the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I will be defiantly stay again. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

Lovely anniversary stay. We were married here 18 years ago and the standards have never slipped. It’s a great property within the Bolton Abbey Estate. Excellent walks and free spa facilities :)

Not very good value for money, paid extra for breakfast which made the stay even less value for money.

Staff were very friendly especially the concierge. Fantastic views from lovely room. Spa was brilliant after a day walking .Great food and drinks too .

1990’s food was ok. Room ok. Nothing to write home about. Staff were very good. Very difficult to find as the A59 was closed due to a landslide
