What can I say obviously the rooms was not cleaned properly even though when we questioned about the cleaning they said it had been cleaned,, the bed was full of hair thats correct hair ,, we got moved to another room and similar but not as much its could ha e possibly een pet hair as this is a pet friendly hotel just put is off it all together so I recommend anyone in future thoroughly check the bed,, terrible design shower room water goes literally everywhere soaking whole room as the shower if only partioned by a small glass screen , did not have breakfast silly price for what it was ,, id definitely not stop there again much cheaper and more cleaner bed and breakfast around the area you also have to pay car parking which is not told when yiu book £15 per night over all not the best experience for the price very disappointed experience

Clean rooms .help full staff

We had a lovely quiet room at the back, good facilities, shame no normal tv channels but only because it was the World Cup, but always something to watch, room was lovely, clean & modern.

Excellent location right on the Esplanade. Very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and attentive. When I arrived there was a fun fair across to road. Heard no noise from it in my room.

Value for money stay. Right next to the sea. Breakfast was ok.

Friendly staff on arrival, quick check in still had to fill in form which was already done online.The room was big & spacious all facilities in the room.bonus that you had toiletries. And even though we were on the side of building we had a sea view. Would diffently recommend.

Air conditioning broken and we weren't told. We spoke to two different staff members at check in and neither told us it was broken husband went down to reception to speak to them was told they would turn it on from main control room half an hour later went back and said it still wasnt working got told it wasn't working across the hotel but reception was very cool? They had also put a fan in our room so they knew it wasn't working and hadn't told us before we arrived or at any point hoping we wouldn't notice but we purposely spent more money on this hotel to get air conditioning as it was a heatwave. We were also put in a disabled room with a connecting door to the next room which was open and when asked they said they didn't know it was a disabled room so if you are trying to book a disabled room the staff don't know which ones are for disabled people and make sure you check doors are locked! Glad I was only staying one night won't be returning

I had a good room overlooking the seafront and pier. The hotel is convenient for the railway station.

The view from the room was really nice- the rooms were clean and well equipped However we both found the beds to be uncomfortable, and we were disturbed during the night from noise on the sea front (Noticeably loud motorbikes going up and down at 3am). While this isn't the hotels fault, I would expect a new hotel to have better double glazing! It's also worth noting for other guests who pay the extra for the premium rooms. Also our room was opposite the lifts and were were disturbed by the 'ding dong' announcing the lifts arrival, and the voice of the lift saying 'door closing'. Even when the lift didn't call at our floor. The door to the room was not very soundproof. Advert also didn't mention that parking is £15 per night- and - it's first come first served. When paying that much for a space I would at least expect to be guaranteed a space.

For the money great value. Modern hotel close to beach & town centre

The staff were so very accommodating they couldn't do enough to help, nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was extremely clean and inviting.

Friendly and approachable staff. Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and town center. The room needed a deep clean, mainly on the shower drain and carpet. The view I had looked out onto the wall of the front part of the hotel which I found slightly disappointing. Overall was a comfortable, pleasant stay.

Cleanness of the room was very good bin and towels change daily. Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast not bad good been quick replacing item that run out. Only thing wrong was not window good open. Because I like fresh air it helps me breathe better

Unfortunately, our experience did not match that description. On arrival, there was no sign of any dog-friendly amenities in the room, and we were initially allocated a room on a floor where dogs were not permitted, resulting in a wait while an alternative room was prepared. We were also disappointed to discover the numerous restrictions placed on dogs. Dogs were not allowed on the beds, in the restaurant, or in the bar area. While we understand that some rules are necessary, these restrictions made it difficult to understand how the hotel can market itself as genuinely dog-friendly. Had this been made clearer before booking, we would likely have chosen alternative accommodation. The staff were friendly and polite, but service was generally slow. On one occasion, it took around 40 minutes to receive four coffees despite there being only a handful of customers in the bar. Another disappointment was the lack of evening meals, which was not clearly advertised when booking. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the hotel did not meet our expectations, particularly regarding its dog-friendly claims. Greater transparency about the restrictions and facilities available would help guests make a more informed choice before booking.
