The location is good in the sense that it is near Talaat Harb Road where there is access to many food and shopping outlets. However, the building itself is situated in a narrow street within the area of vehicle repair workshops and oil & seal shops. Uber drivers and travel service providers find it difficult to locate thus resulting in delays in appointments. Why is the building difficult to locate? Firstly, there is no CLEAR signboard to show JOY APARTMENT 31A Champollion Road on the outside of the building or at road/ street intersection. The nearest landmark is Koshary Aboo Tarek but after that no one knows which direction to go to the entrance of the building apartment. Secondly, if anyone were to check Google map to find location of Joy Apartment now (Oct 2024), the red pointer and name of apartment will indicate to you building 19 instead of 31A; in fact there is no 31A at all. If you were to zoom in or move the map slightly you can find building 31 (which is Joy Apartment) but not labelled in google map that 31 is Joy Apartment. Imagine if a taxi driver were to go to 31A Champollion Road, he will end up at building 19 and you have to get down to carry all your luggages while searching for the right building..... and there is no building number as well, except for an A4 size paper pasted outside of the lift -- but the lift is inside of the building. How do tourists find this building?
