Good place to sleep before getting the Le Shuttle home from France. Self check in seemed easy with our first room but the second room was considerably more difficult and the machine was temperamental and it took 6 tries to eventually get it sorted. Tried the phone number on the wall that was given in case of any issues and it would not work. (not the best with a child tired after a 12 hour drive. But beside that it was fine and convinient.

We arrived at 10pm and the reception was closed. We struggled to use the key code to get in the door and the check in machine kept freezing. We left early for the train. Due to our short stay we didn’t use any of the available services. Room was small but comfortable.

All lighting to room went off in the night. No one to sort it Asked for help from police but they couldn’t sort it so had to wedge room door open to get light . To get dressed we took turns to stand at door as we needed to get light to see . Very difficult to shower , make coffee brush teeth etc

The bad - the 24 hour check machine want accepting cards so couldn't access the room quickly as I had an €0.80 city tax to pay. No towels in my room which I didn't realise until 4am after a shower 😠 The Good - friendly lady in reception helped get the payment through and my room code even though she technically wasn't in shift. The location is great for the shopping centre, restaurants and cinema.

A mixed review! The duty manager was friendly and helpful telling us we’d been allocated a large room. Indeed it was larger than usual, but the room configuration was odd. Although it had a small cubicle for the toilet, the washbasin was in the bedroom and the shower also opened directly I to the bedroom. No privacy at all, once you were out of the shower. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable but only one rather lumpy pillow each. The hotel appears to have been recently updated and forms a complex with two other B&B hotels, one 3 star and one 4 star. There is a restaurant in the 4 star one across the car park with food priced moderately. It’s convenient if you’ve just arrived from Le Tunnel or for shopping at Cite Europe.

Second time we’ve stayed here and we’ll stay again. Great for a stopover on the way to and from the Tunnel. All you need to rest before continuing on. Really good as a shopping base.

Very tidy and modernised for a 2 star hotel. Small breakfast area but well stocked. Self serve process after hours didn't work, but call centre solved issue quickly.

I have stayed at this hotel before and think it’s great! What I think is new is that you need to provide a code at the main entrance door when you arrive after the reception desk is closed. This code is also the same as the code used to enter the personal room. I don’t think it’s safe to have the same code for both, because a person was standing nearby when I typed in the code at the entrance door and thought he could have seen what I typed in. Please provide two separate codes, one code for the main entrance door and different code for the room.
