The location, staff quality and breakfast were really amazing However, we requested a big size bed and got 2 single beds instead. One night from 1am - 3am guys in the room next to us were playing music out loud, we talked to the reception and they said they would take care of it... They didn't. The bath towels weren't changed, neither the floor one The rest was pretty good, the location was 10/10 with a metro station at a 2 min walk. A LIDL, ALDI and SPAR at a maximum of 8min walk Regarding the bad things we would book it again if needed

Booked a single room via Booking which at first glance looked quite nice. Later I discovered all the negative feedback on Google and got a bit worried upfront. Once I arrived the service was great. The lady at the counter helped me in a friendly manner. The room was well heated, clean, quiet and enough space to enjoy even a longer stay. Location is perfect. Everything is close enough to walk. So price and value is good 👍

The location was the only thing that was good about the hotel. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, toilet paper weren’t restocked when emptied, bed was extremely uncomfortable and it was two single beds shoved next to each other so they kept moving apart, on top of all of that you could hear everything from the other rooms absolutely 0 sound proofing and the breakfast was a joke. Cold watery scrambled eggs and barely anything else. If you are looking for something cheap and don’t care about anything it could be for you otherwise i wouldn’t really recommend

One star of five The overall experience at SOUS44 was extremely disappointing.The room cleanliness was unacceptable blankets, sheets, and pillows were clearly not clean!We found other people’s hair on the bedding and a noticeable layer of dust on the furniture, which shows very poor housekeeping standards.What made the situation even worse is that I personally witnessed staff trying to replace our “dirty” pillows and sheets with supposedly “new and freshly washed” ones yet they also had visible hair on them. Despite their claims that everything came straight from the laundry, the condition proved otherwise. We asked to be moved to another room, but at first the receptionist said that all rooms were occupied.Only after we insisted and forced the staff member to contact the manager did they finally offer us another room. Unfortunately, even in the new room there were hairs on the bedding again. This clearly shows poor internal organization and a lack of control over room availability the staff themselves do not seem to know which rooms are free and which are not.Such conditions are unacceptable for any hotel, regardless of price category.Hygiene is a basic requirement, not a bonus!!!The only positive aspect is the location. It is convenient and allows easy access to different parts of Budapest. Howevereven a good location cannot compensate for such low standards of cleanliness and service.

People say that you get what you paid for! Well I did not! I strongly believe that I should get at least a clean a room for the money I paid and I did not!! We change two rooms just to end up to the first one, only because the other was even worse than the first one! The breakfast was ok! The fresh towels never came, we stayed with the old grey ones that we got when we checked in, the trashbin in the bathroom was broken and rooten! The staff was polite at least! If they value so little the money I paid to stay there, I do not and I really would not recommend this hotel from my personal experience!
