Nice clean room and food was good.

No frills, not luxe but clean,comfortable and quiet despite busy road outside. Wimbledon Park Tube Station 5 minute walk. Bus stop into the city right outside. Excellent, large, airy, relaxed pub, with outdoor seating,below the rooms; child and dog friendly. Our teenagers liked the pool table. Attractive space. Staff were friendly, organised and quick to help. Self check in so be sure to leave a mobile number for staff to text you your door code if you're checking in when the pub is closed. My husband and I were visiting family in the area. We would return to the Woodman.

I was not able to check in due to not receiving an email nor was able to contact them directly about this issue and had to get a different place to stay. It is the worst experience I have had.

Clean room, great location for working at the train depot - Great amenities including a fridge which is brilliant - Staff friendly and in a nice area. Discount for hotel food & drink. Highly recommended

Good room, good food, great service

The room is neat with thoughtful furnishings. The staff is helpful and accommodating. The hotel is easily accessible by tube and the neighbourhood is pleasant and safe.

We had stayed the previous two nights in central London and much preferred Anna and her team at the Woodman

Anna was excellent and accommodated our needs even though we checked in a day late.

Lovely staff, excellent room and location

Great pub , friendly staff and nice food

The hotel is NOTHING like the picture; I was put in about an 80 square foot loft with 4 foot ceilings and no A/C, so it was over 90 degrees F each night. They did give me two fans which minimally helped, but what an awful experience. The hotel has no front desk, it is actually a pub with a few rooms being rented out above. The carpet looked like animals had done their business all over it, being completely stained and gross.

Anna was lovely. The pub and hotel are also nicely finished. There are some bits that need attention like the shower overflowing but honestly it’s a lovely hotel and I fully recommend anyone staying there.

From waiting 20 mins to get checked in, to the strong smell of food, to the super annoying electronic lock, to the leak coming through the ceiling to the general air of tiredness this was an experience to forget. Image shows the light coming in the window next to the bed at 5am - a pretty effective early alarm!
