Very close to everything and it’s very safe

Bathroom was full of mold.

First of all, it's not bang in the centre, but it's close. Patraix is far enough from central Valencia that you are not surrounded by tourists, the neighbourhood has it's own authentic vibe. Downstairs there are two good bakeries for breakfast. The room itself is very good. Spacious. The biggest plus was the huge balcony you get all to yourself. You are in the penthouse of a building with, I believe, normal residents. If you get the top floor you'll be happy as you can spend a good deal of time chilling on the balcony at night. The room was clean, I can't find any faults with it. Okay the bathroom wasn't huge but who cares? I like the location too. It is about 5-6 minutes walk from Patraix station and a quick train anywhere you want to go from there. It's also only about 25 minutes to the airport on the train.

The idea to put air condition somehow

Very good choice for the price. Clean and easy to find. be aware of the check in time. They are not there the whole day but they do say that when you book the room. Not far away from the center, some good restaurantes around and places to have breakfast. Parking on the road. Fees during the day but free in the evenings up to 9 am. Try to get a room with an AC, sharing baths are ok.

Short stay for business meeting. All very good. No problems at all.

Four rooms had to share a bathroom. Very clean and lots of bars nearby for breakfast etc. Could walk to Science City and taxis did not cost a lot to get to old Valencia. Car park nearby 25 euros for day, lots of parking meters and free bays in area if lucky.

Too noisy and they do not respect confidentiality. I also had issues with one of the housekeepers talking about me with people that have no relation to the property. This is a breach if my privacy.

Room was on the small side but comfortable and clean, Good accommodation although wasn't that taken with the area that it's in (Quite noisy at times) Transport links to other parts of the city are very good!

This hotel is 29 Euro. So you get a room that represents 29 Euro. Saying that, we stayed only one night, we were out all day and all we needed was a bed. That was what we got. You share a bathroom, which we missed on the booking but that was not a problem.

I was in Valencia on my own, during the Las Fallas Festival, which in itself was fantastic. I felt safe and enjoyed the excitement of the festival. The room was fine with a shared bathroom. I wasn't sure the door lock was that secure. The people in the other rooms were very loud and were in and out all night, banging doors and talking loudly. The desk is not manned very much and it wasn't easy to work out where it was. The lovely people in the panneria downstairs showed me.

Barra89 isn't in a great area for activities, but it is very close to a metro station. There is a bakery/restaurant in the same building that is very good and convenient. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Overall it was a great place to stay for the value. I would recommend it to travellers on a budget.

For the price you pay, it was absolutely all right. The room was clean, fresh bed sheets given when needed. The room looked exactly as on the photos, modern facilities and as described. Minus point might be e.g. the door which can be a bit noisy when your neighbour is leaving. The hotel is located in a good area close to metro and cheap bars. The staff - Marcos were very helpful and has done his best to make our 8 night stay comfortable.

Quirky cute neighbourhood. I liked the cheap fruit and vege shops and thirft shops in the area, but it is just appartment blocks and does not showcase what Valencia has to offer (such as lively energy and historic architecture). Expected 2 single beds but were given a narrow double bed, which is unideal for a mother and daughter duo. Room was clean and had a nice abience, except for the protuding wallplug which had dangerous wires exposed. lovely sweet cleaners, however I found the bathroom was not spotless so I did some cleaning myself. Good setup with 4 rooms sharing a central bathroom. Ask for a room with a terrace, no extra cost! (we did not get the terrace)

The hotel is nice and the owner. It's good for a one night stay, you just need to be prepared for no air con in the summer as it gets really hot in the room
