Walkable to everywhere.

The Host Goldi was lovely full of information and advice about the area. We were disappointed in accomodation, It was advertised as an room with a balcony but it was not, it was just a room, there was no balcony and there was nowhere to sit other than on the bed, we were there for 5 nights no clean towels or sheets. The appartments were a short walk to the Old Town,(lots of steps but that is everywhere in Dubrovnik). Other than that we had a fabulous time in Dubrovnik

Although the property location and owner was awesome. The room was not clean and nothing like we expected from the pictures. The bed had ants coming out of nowhere, needless to say it wasn't a clean place at all. The sheets and towels were worn out. Fridge had hair in it. I was also surprised that we had to pay only with cash.

This residence is not what I was expecting. No mattress and just a very thin layer of something resembling foam on the bed led for a very uncomfortable couple of nights stay. Towels not changed during visit and beds not made when room cleaned during the day. This spoilt my trip to be honest as everything else was fair. Beautiful Sea views were a nice bonus. Good value for the location. Nice people in the area and very beautiful city to visit.

Basic room with shower close to the old town so served its purpose as we were only staying for one night. Lovely views from the sea facing window.

We stayed in the studio and it was absolutely beautiful - the best ending to our month in Europe. The view is breathtaking, I could have just stayed on the balcony all day and night. Don't miss out on this gorgeous apartment!

We've traveled for 50+ days for this trip and unfortunately we have to say this was the worst hotel/residence of all our stays. The room is not up to the minimum standard of a hotel/residence: the floor was dirty; the beddings were old and dirty and looked like not being washed; the towels were not clean and felt damped (not properly dried). The window could not be closed completely; a few pieces of furniture covered with dusts and looked dirty and not usable. All in all, this room was in very bad condition and not regularly maintained and cleaned. To say we were disappointed is an understatement! In addition, the so-called Wi-Fi was interrupted constantly. It looked like it got internet connection from someone else' internet connection since the router was not connected to any obvious internet connections. The second night until the next morning we left, the internet connection was completely gone. We cannot believe the rooms of such conditions could be rented out to guests and Expedia should validate it before letting it posted on your site!

It is not regular hotel, a room in a residential apartment building, quite nice for the price paid, private bathroom located across hallway

The trip was amazing! Along with the fact the apartment was brilliant, the destination, Dubrovnik, is beautiful! But, the location of the apartment really helped as it was local to virtually everything, 10 minute walk at most.

Brilliant - great apartment - with fantastic views! Goldie was absolutely lovely at greeting us & sorting out anything we needed - very helpful host.

If you have a car and want to be close to the old city then this place is good for that. The room was small.. I knew due to the cost it would not be amazing. The pillows were awful lumpy and the bedding old. Lots of mould in the shower. The host was great once we found the place.. she had been trying to contact me but we had some connectivity issues so unless I hadn't disturbed the neighbour who phone her for me.. then this could have been a nightmare to gain entry. Maybe a word about checking in on the hotel blurb would help? Amazing view from our window. If there were just a few little nice touches like new sheets and pillows it could have made it a lot better. States there is coffee making facilities but no actual coffee supplied just a machine. And perhaps a clean up in the foyer which was filthy. Anyway I am a roll with the punches kinda traveller .. you win some you lose some. I was very happy we could park our car here free. Let's just leave it at that :)

This was essentially a small room in an apartment. The apartment building was grubby as was the room. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was small. The ensuite wasn't clean and the shower did not work well. It was not possible to pay by card so I had to withdraw cash and leave it in a box for the owner to collect. It was expensive for the standard of the offering. The telephone service from Hotels.Com was appalling. The number fir Ireland would not work. There was a THIRTY minute waiting time on the UK number. When I selected the call back option, it would accept my number, in any format. If I had been very stuck, HOTELS.COM would have been completely inaccessible and useless. Overall, a horrible experience.

An apartment with partially separated sleeping area and eating/kitchen area with its own bathroom, laundry room and large balcony that overlooks the island of Lokrum and the Old Town port. The apartment is very nicely decorated, has good storage facilities, well equipped kitchen and benefits from an efficient air conditioning system. The balcony gets the sun for most of the day but there is a blind that can be extended to give shade. The owner, Goldi, is very friendly and she responds very quickly to any email queries one might have. The only downside is that, in common with most of the properties in the area, there are a significant number of steps to climb from the lower road that leads to the beach and the Old Town (where the restaurants are). However, there is a local supermarket quite close (up only a comparatively small number of steps!).

We stayed in the full apartment with kitchen and balcony. It was a very well equipped and modern room and was almost entirely worth it just for the view alone. The location was also ideal being just a short walk to old town. Lots of steps to climb (about 150) so beware if mobility is an issue but otherwise I don't think the location could be any better. Very friendly proprietor as well. This room also had A/C which when we were visiting (July) was an absolute must have. I highly recommend this room.

From the balcony of Dubrovnik residence there is a great view of the old city. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. The only negative factor is the parking with difficult access and availability of spaces; otherwise a good base to visit the old city.

Let's me honest £55 per night you can't expect much. Only issues for me bearing in mind the low price was the bathroom smelt a bit so needed a deep clean and advertised WiFi did not work. Back packers style place and central !
