A lovely, small, family-run hotel with that personal touch. Basic but clean amenities and good WiFi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent value for the money. On hot days, expect some traffic noise if you don’t like AC and instead go for opening the window. Plain but good breakfast. There’s a bakery next door, a bike rental station and a park across the street. Györ is incredibly good for biking. Recommended hotel!

The hotel is a few minutes from the train station, we have Lidl supermarket 5 minutes walk , and 10-15 min walk to the center. Large room and clean, quiet in the area, parking in the immediate vicinity on the street without extra charge, air conditioning, TV, internet. Very good breakfast, quality.

Great find just what we needed. Small and very friendly hotel. Just 10 minutes walk to Center lovely pub across road and a lovely bakery next door. Well worth a visit. Breakfast very good

Couldn't sleep all night, noisy trafic all night. The bathroom ugly and dirty, cobwebs behind the door, the shower dirty, didn't bother to have a shower, breakfast ok but cheap, found a spider on the toungs. No value for the money paid. Watch out for room no.3. No money back guarantee.

Great small hotel and very accommodating staff. Breakfast was enjoyable and beautifully presented. We loved our stay in Gyor. Chose Gyor over one of the larger cities and were very pleased with our decision including our choice of hotels

Hotel looks nothing like the photos. It's more like a budget hostel. You can get the same quality for half the price at Hotel Corvin.

The breakfast was good. There was no restaurant which was a little disappointing. The check out was vet slow so extra time should be allowed her.

We were visiting our son and his family in a nearby town which made Hotel Alfa a great place to stay.

Nice hotel for the price -- friendly helpful staff, large rooms, good breakfast. The beds themselves were a bit old but otherwise the hotel was quite stylish for a 3-star. It is a great location in a safe residential neighborhood with easy parking, 15 minutes from the Gyor city center. Gyor is a little over an hour from either Budapest or Vienna. This a great hotel for travelers coming by car to or from Budapest or Vienna since it is far cheaper than an equivalent hotel in Vienna. But leave enough time to see Gyor's historic city center.

Very good familly hotel at walking distance from Gyor downtown. Very clean rooms and environment. The check in was a little bit long as the receptionist was new in this position and was not speaking easily englush. Nevertheless we have received good support to print our train tickets. Good breakfast as well. Very good ration price vs quality
