Very Friendly, and helpful. We had a motorbike which we left out on the road in the hotels private parking spot overnight. The reassured us that they would watch over it. The breakfast was nice and the service very attentive.

Excellent hotel situated in a nice area. Easy walking anywhere around town. The rooms are good size, clean, and nice. Breakfast works for me: bread, croissant, ham, cheese, coffee, and juice. For the price and what you get you can't beat it!

This is an older hotel with nice tile walls up the staircase and really quiet rooms. For me, the size of the room and bathroom were just right. The wifi worked well and I really got some much-needed sleep over my 5-day stay. Every morning, I would go down to have included breakfast and the proprietor would quickly present a huge, flaky, buttery croissant, a basket of rolls with jam and butter, and a whole pot each of coffee and steamed milk. Juice and regular milk were also available. The proprietors were really pleasant and genuinely friendly. It is located a block from the clock tower at Praia da Claridade. It was a great, old-style European hotel at an amazing price!

very relaxing stay, quiet little town,could enjoy the beach near by and also free parking.

The hotel is next to a pedestrian thoroughfare. Perhaps it was because we stayed on a Saturday night, but our sleep was constantly interrupted by passers-by talking in loud voices.

Excellent value. Super clean and fair-sized room. On block away from the ocean. Friendly owners. Fist one-star hotel used. Was quite surprised by the quality of the establishment. Of course, at that price, no air conditioning, but not needed at night.
