Staff was very professional and friendly . Food was ok.

Daniel greeted us early made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and was very informative about the local area Buses stop in Emerdorf which is 15min walk From there you can travel down to Spitz lots of wine producers .

I highly highly recommend anyone who is visiting either as their final destination or a stop over to or from Vienna to stay here. The hotel is located right by the river and has picturesque views all around. The staff were very accomodating and had gone out of their way many times to ensure we had a good stay including preparing dinner and breakfast after we missed the window and lending us bikes and a backpack to bike around and see the sites. Oh and the beds have massage functions which was a happy suprise which is perfect after a ride or walk around the area. Thank you to the wonderful staff that really made our last few days in Austria special.

No Air Conditioning

Daniel was a great host for our stay here. The room was great and has enough room. The hotel itself is interesting with the separate breakfast and dinner areas. It was quiet when we were there, but with more people I think it would be a lively place (in a good way!)

Friendly staff, nice food, quiet location, good beer - what else does the weary traveller need?

We are cycle touring, this hotel was on our route. Bed was comfortable and we had an interesting rock wall to look at. Perhaps a little less furniture in the room and more shelving could have improved the space. However, it was very clean and we slept well. We also had a very good dinner in the restaurant one night.

We enjoyed the hotel and it's surroundings. The location was perfect for exploring the area. We stayed in a nice room with sitting area, which seemed recently renovated. Very comfortable. We met the owner and he was very friendly and helpful; gave us some great suggestions on what to do in the area. The only regret was that we didn't stay there longer.

I was looking for a quiet night in the Wachau to break up my trip, and I got it. The facilities were excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful, but unfortunately it's quite a difficult place to get to by public transport (of course, I should have researched that more before I left...) - I had to take a taxi from Melk. I'd definitely recommend it if you have car or are cycling along the Danube. The restaurant served really good local cuisine and the Gruner Veltliner went down well on the patio.

From booking in to checking out we were made to feel extremely welcome. It was only the fact that it rained the entire time during our stay that spoilt the stay.

Very good one night stay - apart from the weather! Would make a good touring base.

Esperienza negativa. In sé l'hotel sarebbe bello, ma sfortunatamente un autobus di asiatici (sud korea penso) ha letteralmente invaso l'hotel. Un casino tra le stanze insostenibile e a colazione sono riuscito a bere solo una tazza di caffè. Inoltre 3,90€ per una bottiglia d'acqua in cameta è un'assurdità....

Hotel muito agradavel, um pouco fora da cidade mas confortavel.

Good service and close to Melk, restaurant wasnt open on the day we visited on the Sunday. Over all clean and does the job.

Les services et la qualité des chambres ne correspond pas au prix demandé pour les chambres. 70€ serait un prix juste pour cet établissement. Pas de draps ni couvertures pour le lit d'appoint, pas de lampe de chevet, salle de bain minuscule sans aucun article de toilette, et la moindre douche inonde la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est correct, le choix est assez large.

Toll und gemütlich, schöne Lage, freundliche Personal.

Leider war meine Matratze komplett durchgelegen und nur 1,90 lang. Die Dusche war defekt was ich erst am nächsten Morgen merkte. Das Speisenangebot im eigenen Restaurant war überschaubar. Bier sehr gut und Lage toll. Frühstück durchschnittlich.
