Nice breakfast. Excellent staff. Extremely well situated in pedestrian area of the town. Everything is close.

Quite a basic hotel. Had to ask at reception for the remote controls for the tv and aircon even though it was a boiling hot day. Only single bed duvet on a double bed (other duvet) in wardrobe - it’s as though they are trying to do everything to put guests off using the facility. Breakfast was quite good. Overall not bad value shame about the little annoyances.

Practical room though it was rather small.

Everything was good. I will come again.

The stay was amazing, very well looked after place and polite receptionist and cleaners. The breakfast was decent too.

The hotel is fine. The location is very good in the cetra next to the pedestrian zone and close to a multitude of restaurants.

The junior suite apartment with a double bed was comfortable, and the surprise was that it had 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, which were handy. The breakfast was homemade and generous, including yummy desserts from the café. Parking was free. The decor could use some updating, as could procedures such as issuing remote controls upon check-in. Many good restaurants within walking distance.

Clean friendly hotel with a great location.

Nice hotel very well maintained. It is centrally located, near restaurants and shops. We had a nice and clean room with a balcony with a great view on a main plaza. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was working very well, which was great because it was a very hot day. The breakfast buffet was decent and delicious.

Arrived to a warm welcome and staff helped advise on the best location to park and actually stood out in the street to hold a vacant spot adjacent to the hotel. Check in was easy and the room spacious. Clean and the two toilets were appreciated by my girlfriend. Had a wander around the town for a while with loads of choice for eating. Breakfast was varied and catered for vegetarians. Staff all spoke good English which helped since my Romanian is sadly lacking

Despite being so far out of Bucharest, many of the staff spoke English, more than happy to help with anything. Rooms were clean and not dated. The food in the restaurant was tasty with a good selection, I have seen 4* hotels give the same service.

Had a great time at this hotel. Very clean, lovely rooms and great service from staffs. Surrounding was very good as it was close to shops and lovely restaurants. Lovely park in within reach with water fountains

We had a fantastic time at hotel Arges Pitesti. For a 3 star hotel it was in very good condition. Rooms we very clean and newly decorated. Beautiful bathroom. The little cafe by the reception area offered great cake. Hotel staffs were very friend. The hotel location is in a prime location with shops and great restaurants. I must say we had a fab time and our expectation was minimum but when we got there this hotel surpass my expectation.

Hotel is right on the pedestrian way, which was nice. Near a lot of restaurants, etc. Parking was easy - literally right in front of the hotel, and it was fairly easy to find. The bed was a little lumpy, but otherwise a fine room - nothing special but very adequate with minifridge, balcony over all the action and very clean. Good AC too! We were too tired to get breakfast. Quite hotel.

Hotel Arges has been around for a while but it was very nicely remodeled a few years ago. Our room was tastefully done with two twin beds, a small desk and chair, and a couple of more comfortable chairs for relaxing. The TV was a flat screen, not large but adequate for the room, with lots of channels including quite a few in English. Air conditioning worked well. There was a balcony, though its pretty narrow, but I took the desk chair out there and read one free afternoon. The wireless internet worked well. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've experienced in Europe. They actually had eggs, sausage and bacon, as well as breads, meat and cheese and some pastries. There was no in-room safe but other than that it had everything we wanted. The location is right next to the downtown mall area of the city, pleasant for walking with fountains, flowers walkways and stores. The only onsite restaurant is essentially a pastry shop but it has a nice outside eating area and there are other restaurants that span the spectrum of taste and expense on the mall and nearby.
