Entrance to the motel was step so if you have a small car use the driveway to the left as you won't scrape you car. Watch the awning roof height as my roof rack 2m high almost touch the structure.

Hostess Shelly was nice. But for the price, we expected the standard of the room to be of better quality - the furniture and fixtures certainly needed some updating and renovation.

Enjoyed our stay only thing for us was parking we found with a large 4WD vehicle the parking was a little tight but we managed otherwise everything was definitely worth staying staff fantastic was offered an upgrade to a bigger room but we were happy with the one we had

stayed five nights at Motel Northview Mackay. Room was spacious & clean. Older style motel & comfortable. Owners Margaret & Tony couldn't be more helpful. Parking outside room with cover. Although close to the highway, road noise was not an issue.King bed in room was comfortable.Room included sofa , tea & coffee making facilities,microwave. would recommend Motel Northview.
